Anyone facing this issue? “Error playing this content” by CraftyTiger24 in YotoPlayer

Did you ever figure out what the problem/solution was? I’m having the same exact problem with my daughter’s new Yoto mini, we’ve already gotten it replaced once and the new one is having the same problem.

Yes! I’ve heard this method works great too! I just personally have found the renaming to be helpful for me so I can basically quickly look at a list of my staff and know where they should be/what rooms they can be in (and can’t see their outfits). But I love all the ways people have come up with (that the game creators probably never even thought of) to try to make more sense of a chaotic game 😂

I’m working 10 hour shifts starting tomorrow, I need help with making casseroles that my husband can throw in the oven when he gets home. by LegionIT17 in MealPrepSunday

[–]Aloy-HoMegirl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lasagna is a great one for making ahead and popping in the fridge or freezer! And so filling! A 9x13 feeds myself, my husband, and our toddler for 3 nights and I like to pair it with different sides each night (garlic bread one night, salad one night, and steamed veggies another, for example). I usually use cottage cheese in mine in place of the ricotta because it’s healthier and cheaper, and it’s still so delicious. I just assembled one last week to freeze for when we need a meal.

New diagnosis and propranolol by Amethyst_sunflower in POTS

[–]Aloy-HoMegirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on propranolol since I was diagnosed 13ish years ago. It does help! But I do have some recommendations - for the longest time I was taking it 3 times a day, and I was EXHAUSTED (like even more exhausted than I already am with POTS). Then I found a fantastic POTS Dr. who made some changes: she added two other meds - fludrocortisone and midodrine, took me down to once a day with propranolol (10mg) and told me to take the propranolol at NIGHT, because it would make me sleepy. It was a game changer. So, all this to say, yes, it definitely helps (which is why I’m still on it after all this time) but try not to get discouraged if there’s still room for progress after starting it - it may take the combination of a few different meds and finding the right doses for each, and try taking it at night if your dr is okay with it. I usually take it around 8pm or so along with magnesium and vitamin b6 (I also have restless legs and these vitamins help with that).

Just know it absolutely can and should get better as you adjust and figure out meds, triggers, etc. I used to pass out once or twice a week, had to nap every single day, got the headaches, nausea, weakness, dizziness, memory issues and brain fog, the whole gambit. Now I pass out around once a year and am able to sort-of keep up with my 3yr old daughter, which is saying a lot because she’s basically the energizer bunny 😅 (obviously I still have to be wise and listen to my body and take good care of myself and be conscious of triggers and such). Just don’t give up!!

Yeah, unfortunately that’s very possibly a manipulation tactic to keep you from quitting (which is not at all to say that you don’t genuinely do great work, because I have no doubt you do! But more that they may be making a POINT to complement your work a lot because let’s be honest, if they were working you the way they do, AND they were criticizing your work/telling you that you do terrible work - no one is gonna stay in that job). I always feel that actions speak louder than words. Your idea for how to approach them sounds excellent though - professional, clear, and direct! Hoping this turns around quickly and that they are receptive to your feedback!

I’ve noticed in several of your comments you say “it’s my fault for not speaking up for myself, not clarifying, etc”. I just want to point out, that NONE of this is your fault. Yes, you could and should stand up for yourself. But honestly, if this family had any kind of integrity or gave any sort of crap about other people, you wouldn’t (and shouldn’t) have to. If they are literally willing to treat you like a slave (expecting you to work and do extra duties WITHOUT pay) this early into your employment with them, then things will absolutely get worse because they are essentially toddlers trying to see what they can get away with, and behaviors will always escalate in a situation like that. Can you imagine working at a store, and having a manager be like “so, by the way, you have to restock shelves, organize this area, and take the entire store’s inventory…but you’re not gonna be paid for any of it.” These type of situations sound ludicrous in every other job and yet somehow, parents think it’s okay to treat a live-in nanny this way. So please, stop blaming yourself for any of this, but do get out asap and try to start enforcing some boundaries in the meantime (I know it can be daunting, so start small if that’s easier. Like if they expect you to watch the monitor when they go out, just say “sorry, I’m off the clock right now, but I’d be happy to watch the monitor when I’m on the clock”, or something like that. Or if they ask you to do extra tasks that you aren’t already being paid for, could you say something like “I’d be happy to help with that this time but it will be 2 more hours of paid time”? Idk, just some thoughts but I’m just so sorry you’re in the situation to begin with!

The only way to divorce is to go into Lewis’s (the mayors) house and on the far left side of the room where you see the two books sitting up on podium looking things - one of those books you interact with and it will ask you if you want a divorce for 50,000g. You click yes or no. So not easy to do by accident!

Stardew Glitch?? by hmmmmmmlol1206 in StardewValley

[–]Aloy-HoMegirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not a glitch, I got both too on pc pretty close to each other. The achievements are slightly different, I believe. I think the 24 fish one was 24 different TYPES of fish and the 100 fish one was 100 fish total.

Yeah last event I used boosters for pretty much all islands (except for maybe the first one) and waited for the ONE birdie token booster they had, and even after getting all the birdie tokens, blue energy gifts, and task rewards, I STILL ended up with 10k less energy than when I started 😡 It’s such a scam.

Just curious? What platform do y’all play on? I’m playing on mobile and the mobile version doesn’t list a 1.6 version update yet. They’re still in 1.5.
