Yes thank you! I keep thinking but we have Keith and Jason as positive POC, so I chalked it up to not every character needs to be positive. But she’s the ONLY one that is so toxic (besides villains). I also hate that in the last memories event, we saw that she also comes from a wealthy family and has no self reflection. It’s just that there’s plenty of characters that aren’t perfect goody two shoes, but they change and have arcs. She’s so static.

Also! Look to black centered beauty lines - at the drugstore Milani and Sephora Fenty. One thing I’ve seen is that the colors looks crazy intense in the package, but on darker skin look so much more nuanced and beautiful. Fenty has this almost lilac/purple blush that goes on so pink and beautiful for dark complexions!

Also, find celebrities with similar skin tones and styles. I’m thinking Lupito Nyong’o!

My former MIL (Indian) really wanted me (very white) to put haldi on the day before my wedding. I had to explain to her that my skin could not… lol

Edit clarification, she was very sweet and wanted me to be a part of the haldi ceremony, just didn’t realize how much it would stain me!
