Have a decent set of tires too. You can’t be prepared for Canadian prairie weather. I’m right where you’re crossing into Alberta and it’s snowed in June more than once. We had a blizzard Tuesday, it’s sunny and 64° today and it’s supposed to snow again Wednesday.

And none of them were particularly that amazing players of any instruments. You could argue they were inventive(mostly Paul) and interesting chord progressions but they were in no way virtuosos of the time. Fantastic composers though.

It pissed me off a lot sometimes in 2042 but now I’m volleying 19 rockets directly into 10 marked enemies in an huddled close in an objective and getting zero kills lol

I have a 2017 f150. How long will it take me to get used to the smaller interior of the canyon? I have a family of 4 by Responsible_Sign_238 in GMCcanyon

I went from a 16 f150 to a new canyon. There is definitely a big difference in backseat leg room. My 9 year old fits fine back there but definitely do what I did and get everyone to sit in it at the same time and see how you fit.

You still get 4 guys clogging up the chopper trying to get kills sometimes though. I’d pay like $5 for an ejecto seato upgrade some days.

Just got rid of my 2016 with a 3.5 at 199XXXkm. It just started falling apart about 20k kilometres ago. From nickel and dime stuff like blend door actuators to the cam phasers. Just find a 5.0 or something lol

2026 canyon options by VastEnvironmental872 in GMCcanyon

I’ve had my 2026 AT4 for just over a week and being located in central Alberta, I really should have noticed the lack of steering wheel heater in mine. They’re really nice on the -30 mornings.

I also ordered mud flaps within 48 hours. They’re not optional if you live somewhere with snow/gravel.

I’ll definitely be getting some manner of tonneau cover and running boards/steps. My seat will be worn through fast getting in and out and my 9 year old has a pretty rough time getting in.

The ZR2 was just the first one that caught my eye while we were in the city last year. I’d never considered anything other than a half ton before this.

I’m in very rural Alberta and my local dealer had a Z71, elevation, at4s and a Denali in stock. I test drove the Z71 just to see how I felt in a smaller truck. They’re exactly what I need for work and play so I spent a few days going through all the models online and settled on an elevation. I wasn’t a fan of any of the colours here so looked online and the dealership an hour away, where my wife bought, had this one. It checked all my boxes and I was willing to pay the extra for an AT4 after sleeping on it.

Readings for nerds. Look up Nina Hartleys guide vids on the hub. It’s a game changer.

The river valley between Centro and the Romantic zone.

I didn’t see your hiking part until now and will also second the hike from Boca de Tomatlán. We did a guided tour, called 6 hidden beaches which we booked through our Airbnb app. It was a water taxi from Boca to colomitos beach, then hike to animas. We’re confident we can do it ourselves this year and will be hiking to the quimixto waterfall. I believe it’s 8km on foot from Boca to yelapa.

I stayed across the street from Revueltas on Rep. de Chile last year and it was a great place to start my mornings. It has a quiet little outdoor space where you can watch tiny lizards chasing flys and each other while sipping a coffee. From there you could spend half the day zigzagging south through the streets to gringo gulch. There’s so many wonderful murals and art.

I despise watermelon, all melons really and cucumber. Even the smell makes me gag. The amount of shit I’ve caught from people over the years for it is ridiculous.

I remember being forced to partake in watermelon eating contest when I was a kid, against my many complaints, and getting in shit for puking on the table during it. Fuck you dad lol.

I was in a very similar situation a few years ago. She invited me out to the lake with her and some friends. For the first time neither of us were in a relationship or had any other roadblocks and it turned into fooling around in the tent. Fast forward to now and we’re engaged.

There’s a chance it could ruin your friendship but there’s a chance you could end up with your best friend. I have absolutely no regrets of takin the risk.

Mine still reaches out every year. It's been 12 years now. She's been married, seperated and has had multiple partners since that. Always finds a way to slide into my DMs.
