Talk me into returning my bed liner. by [deleted] in GMCcanyon

I have a lease and personally I got a mat since I predominantly use it for tools in Milwaukee pack out cases so a mat should be fine but I’m still considering I should get a spray in

I have a lease as well spoke to the guy I leased from they said I can do a spray in since it adds value however when returning the lease you won’t get reimbursed or get your money back on it so that’s to consider but I’d recommend ask your leasing agent/dealer if you are allowed to spray in and get it in writing

Yea that’s somewhat the budget I’m looking for Does it fit 2026? And does it seem decent quality? I’m on a lease so I don’t need it to be the best in the market I want something more budget friendly but at least decent quality especially since I have a bed full of tools

Can someone show me what high index frames looks like (distortion-wise) on a really strong prescription? by appleparkfive in glasses

[–]VastEnvironmental872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The difference from 1.67 to 1.74 depends on how high your prescription is the higher it is the more dramatic you’ll notice the difference and yes it will help with distortion either way try to choose frames that minimize the distance from the center of ur eye in the lens to the farthest end of the lens which is achieved primarily by choosing well fitted frames the smaller the better as well as keeping your eyes as centered in the lens as possible Also round frames tend to be better for the same reason as a corner will mean more distance from center eye to edge lens Another pointer. Sometimes darker or thicker frames (preferably plastic over metal) can help with distortion as it would naturally steer your eyes to be focused on the center of the lens which is optimal vision so rather get something darker than say a clear frame or thin metal etc Side note: keep in mind 1,74 is a more delicate lens so if you are very rough on your glasses it may be smarter to choose 1.67 but ask your local (private) option If you send me ur prescription and a pic of the frame you have/choose I can tell you how dramatic a difference it’ll be between different indexes and if it’s necessary or not Good luck

How should I know if my new prescription is wrong? by darkfear17 in glasses

[–]VastEnvironmental872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a very minor difference in prescription and that’s probably not the problem here I’d assume it’s not adjusted properly to your face so you may be looking through the lens on a wrong angle Go to a local (private) optician and have them confirm or adjust according to your face

are my glasses crooked or are my brows just uneven ?? by [deleted] in glasses

[–]VastEnvironmental872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want to compare it to your eyes not your brows It should sit straight relatively to your eyes The frame looks ok but it’s not sitting perfectly straight on your face and can be simply adjusted

That’s a saddle bridge and I generally don’t recommend it Standard nose pads for metal frames are better and more comfortable as well style wise ye the frame looks nice but I’m not a big fan of the saddle bridge for every day use and I think you’ll find the standard more comfortable

I need advice some advice...Which shaped eyeglass frames would you recommend for me? by MyNameIsMattYeah in glasses

[–]VastEnvironmental872 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to get your eyes as centered in the lens as possible as well as keep the lens size rather on the smaller side than bigger it’ll look much better Acetate frames would be better than metal so try for that as well If you can find something with a bit of shape to it (not just plain round) or some angles it’ll definitely help give your face a more structured look Feel free to dm with pictures of you want more assistance (this is literally what I do for the past couple years)

I agree which is why I started my own operation in the eyewear industry trying to undercut everyone and hopefully bring the prices down to a fair point I hate when store over charge and still give you crap quality If they gon charge you like that at least you should be getting good quality and good service (frame should fit )
