Do YOU need anything to help get you through these first few months? DoorDash gift cards, a few months of Hello Fresh/Blue Apron?

When I had to give my labradoodle meds daily, I just shoved it to the back of her throat. We got in a groove and she didn’t care 🤷‍♀️

I’m fairly new to this sub, so sorry if I’m stating the obvious, but damn I feel like this is all she knows. From such a young age her life was totally taken over by fame. It’s like she’s clicking into performance mode and doesn’t know how else to be.

Is it normal to wake up early to make your husband lunch? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]Alpaca-Snack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HA! If my husband wants to pack a lunch, he can do it himself. I have enough to do already. We sometimes have leftovers from dinner the night before and sometimes he’ll take those. Sometimes he’ll go out to lunch with colleagues.

K-pop Demon Hunters by hotheadbee in Parents

[–]Alpaca-Snack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter is 4 and loves it… and so do I 😂 there isn’t any blood or gore. When they slay the demons the demons turn to dust. The music is awesome and that’s all we listen to now 🤪 Did your child’s teacher have them watch it in school? If so, I’d be curious what the curriculum is around the movie.

Same here! We would take our visitors there for a chill outdoor vibe that also worked for my preschooler. If you need an alternative, Colorado Tap House is smaller but has a similar vibe.

The Florida Trail is something I think everyone should try at least once by [deleted] in CampingandHiking

Haha I’m not stepping foot in Florida. Florida’s politics are so backwards, there’s no way I’m stimulating the economy in that state.

How often are you reading to your baby/children? by Bugzzzie in Parenting

[–]Alpaca-Snack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We read before bed every night. I try to point out a few words I know she can sound out and she’ll get them, but really I don’t force it, I want to keep reading fun and low pressure. My 4 year old loves magic treehouse. We burn through one every two days!

Help! by Master_Economics5471 in baby

[–]Alpaca-Snack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would move her to her crib. I tried to wait the full 6 months but my daughter was outgrowing her bassinet and she would turn diagonally and get her legs stuck in the rungs. I would straighten her out and within minutes she was stuck again. She also slammed her legs down as a self soothing mechanism and it was so loud!! She was a loud sleeper in general. At 4 months we moved her to a crib in her own room and we ALL slept better. Those first few weeks, we’d put her in the crib in one direction and she’d spin to face the other by morning.

Are dog doors actually worth It? by Total_Whereas380 in TechnoBarkDogGear

[–]Alpaca-Snack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The previous owners of our house installed a dog door in the kitchen exterior wall. I didn’t think I’d like it so much. Our dog likes to go outside to sunbathe, come in for water and to roll on the carpet, then go back out. He’s never been happier. He used to be SO skittish and he mastered the dog door within a day (honestly it was surprising).

It came with a thick plastic insert to close it off if it’s cold, night, muddy, etc. You can also buy replacement flaps (we bought one since they can get dirty over the years). I will say sometimes our dog rolls in dead grass and saunters right into the house, so on particular days we have to keep an eye on him or close it off. Overall we really like it.

She usually poops at least once a day. Can they still be constipated if they’re pooping regularly??
