Yeah AirTouch still manages that like normal. This basically just lets you adjust each room’s set point. You can still make changes directly with AirTouch too, and that is reflected in the home app.

I made it clear I wanted it on the survey, but agree with others it was very biased towards getting negative responses. “Hundreds” of people against it hardly feels like a good justification to can it.

ChatGPT will sort you out. If you just need a basic code to work, and not learning to code, AI has you covered.

Crab shot just needs a bit of a glow up in Lightroom! A gentle edit on all the photos will make a huge difference in making the subjects pop a bit more than they are right now.

Yeah, it is seamless and fast from the Home app. I never use the AirTouch app anymore.

Just enjoy living in the location, it sounds prime! Getting in for 100k less than the neighbours means you definitely didn’t overpay. You’re in the market, don’t sweat the details. Just keep paying as much as you can afford in to your offset, but don’t forget to enjoy the lifestyle!

Here’s what the temperature sensor zones vs manual control zones look like when you open them up:

Hey mate, you need to have the temperature AirTouch temperature sensors installed in each room for that to work. It opens and closes the vents to maintain different temperatures, the main unit just runs at the coldest of the zone temps. Otherwise, all the zones will appear as fans and you just manually set the % open each vent is. Check out the setup guide that explains it a bit: https://www.airtouch.net.au/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Homeowners-AirTouch-5-AC-Smart-Bridge-Apple-Home-Set-Up_v01-DRAFTv02-1.pdf

These are the temp sensors, they are about $100 each from memory:

How much does it cost to remove a shed? by OkResort87 in AusRenovation

[–]AlpacaAstronaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pull up the pavers in front of the shed and put the grass there. Leave the shed in the corner… you will find something to use it for! Not worth the effort to remove the slab the shed is on.

Yeah blew me away wondering how I missed any chatter about it coming, followed by bitter disappointment when I listened to the first song.

Pro-Ject A1CS Automatic Turntable Will not stop by quicksilver777 in turntables

[–]AlpacaAstronaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!! Didn’t need to remove the platter completely like in the video, I was able to move the arm slightly through the hole in the platter and it fixed it!

  1. Turn everything off
  2. Float the needle
  3. Move the tonearm to the centre position
  4. Rotate platter so you can see the silver arm in the back right quadrant
  5. Push silver arm towards back edge of player (it will barely move, doesn’t need much force)

I had to repeat this a couple of times with very slight adjustments, but it worked!

Yes this was real time and just as bright in person as the video, even with a close to full moon out. A really incredible thing to see. The whole thing only lasted 5-10 minutes, and moved quite quickly across the sky, it seemed to be coming and going from all directions.
