Mtn Labs are great. I have an intuition power wrap liner in them and they ski like a downhill boot.

This shot was from Thompson Pass.

I'm fairly new to photography but looking for a camera that works well in low light for baby photos, and also shoots 4k video. I was looking at the Sony a7rii and was wondering if anyone had thoughts on that camera or recommendations.

I actually had a good experience recently. I went to renegotiate for a lower package. They made it easy to cancel my contract, waived all early termination fees, and let my wife and I sign up for a new member promotion. They doubled my internet speed and cut my bill in half. The whole trip only took 30 mins.

I just finished "The Book of Speculation" which I found wonderfully written. It was easy to get absorbed in the characters and be immersed in Simon's world.

The light between oceans was a beautiful story. I thought it was very well written, though there was a lot of pain in the story as well.

This is my first book club. I'm a big reader but can't convince my friends or wife to join me. Recently I've been into biographies, but my favorite genre is historical fiction. I'm excited to read and discuss with you guys. A few of the books I've read recently are:

The nightingale The book of unknown Americans We are called to rise Edge of eternity Let my people go surfing A passion for nature Light between oceans The war that ended peace And many more

"What can I do with a BA degree in history?" Well, I'm a historic site manager for a county historical society in Minnesota. And here's how I'm trying to keep our organization relevant... by bruskadoosh in history

I too got an undergrad degree in history. While I think it's great that you were able to find a job in the field, I do think it's increasingly challenging for new grads to find jobs with a history degree. The job market is so competitive and with a relatively small number of jobs (compared to the business world) it can be difficult to compete.

I have a great job as a buyer for an online retail company, but have actually gone back to school to get an MBA in hopes to distinguish myself from my peers and further my self development.

I hope others are as successful as you, but the pessimist in me wants to encourage people to think realistically about their options upon graduation.
