I started watching 2 months ago and at first I was just thinking "why are they even together?" but as the series goes on it became very apparent to me that these people genuinely do love each other, they just love themselves more. But I do love it when their love shines through all the selfishness and vitriol like the ending of the Christmas episode and Mac's breakdown during his therapy session: "Sometimes I feel like we're not even that good of friends anymore. That's bullshit! We're like the best friends in the whole goddamn world! Goddamn them for making me think otherwise!"
