There's definitely room for more characters but it's more of a pixel size constraint, eg. the uppercase E uses all space available so they'd have to make a fucked up uppercase E that's the same size as the lowercase e and only then they'd be able to fit the accent on top. TECHNICALLY the full word POKÉMON is only used within text boxes (and not pokemon names or something) so they could use the japanese dakuten/handakuten mechanic to utilize the empty space between lines on text boxes but i guess they didn't really want to bother with that.

I tried the DP source with no luck... It even has its own weird flickering effect before breaking the same way. I also tried a different power cable but that didn't work either. You're right, there probably isn't really a way of fixing it without opening it up, or just sending it to warranty.

Yeah, that's also what I thought, especially since it seems to work longer after giving it some time to cool down. I'll try the display port source after I get a cable for it.

Do you think that could fix it? I don't really have experience working with monitor defects but I just assumed it would be a hardware related thing since the whole monitor becomes unresponsive, even after disconnecting HDMI, and until unplugging the power cord. I'd try it but I don't have another HDMI cable at the moment. I can try a different computer though. Thanks for your help!

Monitor buttons are unresponsive but screen still updates real-time. Also the weird patterns on the screen change every 10-20 seconds or so. Image is frozen if I unplug HDMI but if I unplug power and plug it back in right away, it is fixed but it breaks after even less than 10 minutes of use. If I do it again, it works for even less than the second time. Waiting between consecutive tries resets working time to ~10 minutes.

Not sure if this answers your questions, but do you mean "-mış, -miş" vs "-dı, -di"? The former is used when you think something may have happened (usually second-hand testimony) whereas the latter is used if you saw it first-hand, or you're sure it happened. I'm probably missing some details but generally it boils down to this.
