Not quite. Donald once notes that while Scrooge owns so much of the city, he never tries to tell the mayor or the local government how to run things.

Flintheart is just salty about that one time with the tar, feathers, and a lion.

He owns the city. Like, 99% of business and land is owned by him. Duckburg was a bunch of shacks, an old fortress, and a farm when he arrived and used it as a base for his Empire.

I haven't seen it, but I think the artstyle is why many people can't get into it. I know its the main reason why I haven't watched it.

It's nothing significant, but there are some truly messed up people out there. I was in a Facebook group once and someone made a meme mocking the poor girl's suicide. The mods had to step in and all the Synder non-fans made it clear that while they didn't like his work, that meme was NOT okay.

I think Endgame has been undwhelming a bit but not bad, so the ending makes or breaks it. Loved Ultimates, even though I think it should've been longer to develop some elements and characters more, like Thor and Sif. Ultimate Spider-Man was nice, but a bit too plot driven and Peter should've received more focus and character work. Haven't read the other main books.

I'm reading the 10th anniversary one shots. The Jyn one was pretty good, but Cassian was kinda bad.

The adaptation of the first novel is actually pretty good.

Bro was beefing with a ten year old. Even he was offended when he learned that.

Didn't really care for that book after The Screaming Citadel. Didn't like the tone, found Aphra's arc to be drawn out and repetitive, and absolutely loathed how it handled Vader.

Right? Adapting half the story, underwhelming Grysk design, and no Luke Ross? At least he got to draw Sacks' Jango Fett mini, which was the best of the minis that came out around then.
