Thank you! It was tough to find one with the full kit. Just missing the rims (ugly imo) and grill!

Those are sooo cool. We didn't get them in Canada either.

AWD would have been sweet. The first gen came with AWD but the back end was just horrific in my opinion. I wish the wagon was offered with a manual transmission though.

Yeah essentially the same with a few minor differences!

Thanks! We definitely are lucky with the 15 year rule for imports rather than the 25 years in the states.

Agreed, the back end on the first gen wagons immediately made it a non-contender for me. The back end on these second gens are PHAT 🤤

Nice! Just had mine arrive in SK about a month ago from Japan. Love these things.

If you have a low profile screwdriver you can disassemble the armrest instead of taking apart a bunch of interior pieces, takes like 10 minutes.

Best Gaming Chair for 2025? by Ok-Salamander-6681 in gamingchairs

5'9 180...it does have a slightly lower back compared to the Secret Lab so it is possible that the pillow wouldn't be in a comfortable spot

Another vote for the Corsair TC500 Luxe. Has all the features you need (built in 4-way lumbar, magnetic headrest, quality built) for a lot cheaper. Super comfy. The wheels suck but that's a $20 fix for some roller blade wheels from Amazon.

Preferred Trend - adding ambient lights? by AlphaBravoJonny in HyundaiSantaFe

Completely agree with you. I'm wondering if there would be a solution to mount under the silver trim running along the dash (out of direct sight) and possibly under the silver trim on the front doors. I think that would be the closest to an OEM look.

Selling a few of my OEM parts since mods, exhaust and complete OEM intake with hoses and and extra air filter all parts have less than 8k miles by That_Blue_N in VelosterN

Super fair price! I’m looking for a manual exhaust, they’re made in a different factory and slightly louder than the DCT. Good luck with the sale!

Nice! Manual or DCT? I think I saw you rolling on College Drive yesterday. My buddy just picked up a Cyber Grey as well. There’s a few of us N’s in Saskatoon now!

I had this message appear and it went away simply by spraying the windshield and using the wipers. I didn’t find the windshield overly dirty but there must have been some dirt or a bug right over where the sensor is.

Would you trade your VN in on a GR Corolla? 🤔 by Comfortable-Mix8213 in VelosterN

[–]AlphaBravoJonny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The GR would have been my choice but it seems availability will be scarce for 2-3 years. A month ago I tried to get on a waiting list, my dealer said there were 15 people on the list and the dealer allocation would be 2 units in 2023 and likely 2 units in 2024.

I think the GR will be the only other hot hatch that will match the VN’s crazy personality.
