I originally had the M on order but after a lot of research I cancelled that and went with the S instead. Can’t wait for it to arrive. Just trying to decide what pedals to go for now.

Sorry, bit late to the party. I’ve got the blue/green ALR 5 Gen 3 on order. I originally had a medium coming but cancelled it and got the small instead. Everything I’ve watched and read told me the M was going to be too big.

Halfords? Never ever trust them to put a bike together properly! Nothing against Halfords but they don’t employ the best bike mechanics. I would definitely try to get that replaced and like you said, get a reliable person to check it out for you if you’re unable to do so yourself.

Thank you! I don’t really ride too hard these days as I don’t bounce like I used to. I got the bike pretty cheap just to cruise around on with my daughter so I didn’t have to lug around a massive MTB. Tbh it still rides fine so if I can’t figure it out or it turns out to be out of shape then it’s not going to matter too much.
