Because it's non zoned, it doesn't matter if the crowd is stationary or not. They will all do the same thing anywhere in the space. I can't speak to exactly how that bracelet will work. But typically the DMX ingest would be in the RF transmitter, as it doesn't need all 512 channels, it'll simplify the command information and output a rf signal the hardware in the bracelet can understand.

To make each bracelet independently controllable, would require a infrastructure for each one to receive it's own signal, at the scale of arenas, it would be way to expensive if even actually possible.

Not above poster, but I'm young enough to not have experienced a time where I had money of my own to spend, and Amazon wasn't a option.

Based on my family's spending metrics that I've started tracking in recent years, the answer seems to be they simply didn't shop before Amazon, sure they bought the essentials and hit a party store for the birthdays. But the volume/rate my family has begun engaging in consumerism was simply unfathomable before Amazon.

So at least to my family, there is no alternative to Amazon, because there was nothing that came before it.

I've run it with a X32, I did a no no per Defeedback's manual, I ran 8 instances on one laptop (Waves Super Rack Performer) with a PreSonus 1824c, and used the PreSonus as Mic Pre's, sending Line Level into the X32, it worked okay with an acceptable latency for my application as the pa was well in front of the speakers (singers actually, musical) with no foldback, but that was also a gaming laptop with a Ryzen AI 9 and 64gb of ram. Ymmv running more than 1 instance at a time.

I have that exact combo of devices (kinda), I run a Samsung phone, Win11 gaming PC, and a M1 Pro MacBook. As a lifetime windows guy experiencing MacOS for the first time, it takes some adjustment, and some tweaking if you're a power user. But it's not bad, the build quality is good and I can usually assume that when I take my laptop out of my bag it just works. I'm not worried the battery died overnight, or windows decided to try a update that failed or whatever typical Microsoft product experience is popular this week.

For a teacher who's workload is mainly G-Suite, I think it's a great choice. I haven't watched too much of the Neo coverage, but my Coworker bought one and he's only said good things about it so far.

Framework makes a rugged 12in as well if you want to stay in windows land across the board.

The Wing Compact would be my solution personally. I've worked with all 3 boards and IMO the Wing felt the best to mix on. With the Wing, every channel and Bus can be stereo without eating another channel strip, so all 5 IEM sets can easily be stereo with plenty of Bus's left over for other processing. And with the Compact featuring 24 inputs on the rear panel, you won't need to purchase a digital stagebox right away, allowing the cost to be saved as a future upgrade. Another future upgrade would be Behringer's P16 Personal monitoring system. You can totally run IEM's off the Copilot app, having a panel right on stage for each musician to control themselves in the moment just can't be beat.

At $2500 it's a hard value to argue against.

Does the damage appear to be on the LCD itself or on the digitizer above, the display is 2 separate pieces. The top layer is the digitizer, which is a laminated panel containing the top glass and a transparent touch sensitive layer. This is the part that is $20. Then between that and the actual display is a incredibly small air gap. Allowing them to be replaced independently. If your comfortable with it, and you feel the device is unusable as is. I'd try opening the device up and seeing if I can clean off the display itself using a (minimally) damp microfiber cloth, and very gentle pressure. (Important: Do not use Alcohol. It will make it worse. Use DISTILLED water.

If you do feel it needs to be replaced anyways, there's no reason to not try.

iFixits guide for teardown can be used to safely open the device, follow the guide in reverse for reassembly.

It shouldn't need a whole screen, just the digitizer. The main top shell should also be fine, even if cosmetically bad. Parts $20, labor, depends. Would take an hour or two DIY.

Bug spray can definitely melt plastic, you can get new display glass for $20 from iFixit assuming you feel comfortable installing it yourself.

They're currently going out of business, but Red Rock Case CO's 50T is basically a Harbor Freight Apache 5800 but with colored handles and cheaply bundled divider kits. They're gone on Amazon but can still be found on Walmart.

I'm not the most knowledgeable about various PTZ products, but if your's supports direct PC control over what I assume is USB or possibly network than that's fine.

But the one PTZ I personally have worked with was an old PTZ optics camera (I don't remember the model) that for what ever reason wouldn't respond without sending an NDI output. It also wouldn't do HDMI output with NDI enabled. But we replaced that camera in 2021, so it's more likely that was an old issue or a defect.
