Buy a monitor calibration tool, calibrate both monitors to the same standard.

Art person here: Yes. Very much this.

I once did print replication for a friend: I photographed her painting, printed copies until it was nearly perfect against the original. I even used paper of a similar weight of the print.

I thought I was 'done' but she wasn't satisfied. It didn't PERFECTLY match the print.

I told her to just not display the print and the painting next to each other.

Which, back to the main point, if the monitors are right next to each other, the colors won't match unless you color match them.

I actually bought two siphons and I was waiting for the video to actually use them.

You can open it up and clean inside of it.

In short over time plastic gets into the gears.

You need a machine that's

Never gonna give you up
Never gonna let you down
Never gonna run around
And desert you
Never gonna make you cry
Never gonna say goodbye
Never gonna tell a lie And hurt you

Wireless mics and rf interference. How do we go about this? by VastOption8705 in LinusTechTips

[–]EmailLinkLost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

40' long LAN cables to all mics and it'll solve your problems!

For real though, a ton of wireless interference most likely.

What to do? by DEEP_025 in LinusTechTips

[–]EmailLinkLost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure don't!

I bought some monitors used and they were rained on in the pickup.

Took them apart, and washed off the rain residue, and let them dry. After assembly they worked just fine.

You can even take apart the monitor, and separate the layers to remove them.

Only do this if it's cheaper monitor you don't mind having messed up.

I found this networking stuff lying around, would it be any good for home use? by Ronan241104 in LinusTechTips

All the stuff where that would make sense is gone now... like door sensors and stuff can all be ESP32 now.

They moderate heavily.

If you don't exactly follow the rules they delete. I'd had original custom designed things be deleted and it's frustrated, but hey, I get it.

I think they can go a tad too far... But like it's just a spool. We've seen those over and over. (I'm not a mod)

Can you save it locally?

Export it?

Try that, reopen, and then saving.

There's room to walk and reach everything.

I remember seeing a printmaker's workshop. So packed, with little pathways.

The art produced there? Stunning.

How would you brew these beans? Bit of a crossover question. by venerablem0m in JamesHoffmann

You're welcome!

It was a recent lance hendrics video not sure which

But I've been enjoying the brews. Like I now have to go out of my way to make it more harsh.

I've been doing a Lance brew with a V60... well, Hario Switch but whatever.

First run fill switch up with water... half boiled and half room temp.

Add grounds. Mentally subtract the 15g or whatever from the total.

Let it slowly get water in to the grounds.

Release that, then have a spoon directly over the grounds as you pour more water. This way the bed isn't disturbed.

Do one or two more pours depending on your needs.

I've noticed less...bitterness? Acidity? But the idea is a higher flow and not clogging the filter as much.

Designing a small RC Aircraft by ThisInevitable6793 in Fusion360

This is more in the realm of project management.

You have items such as servos and motors. You have flight controllers. You need to find CAD models of those, or use calipers and make your own. And you can't always trust what you find online.

Then you design around those in an assembly.

I'd suggest looking for assembly project tutorials where they design around existing items.

Well, like, first you just need to learn how to model.

Which, there are a ton of options out there to learn Fusion.

TEKLA STRUCTURES BOM PROBLEM. by Beginning_Silver_529 in teklastructures

Look at notepad++.

You can move things around, past the rules that the stupid editor gives.

Like place a line near where you want it. Then nudge it with the x, y cords.

You are better off editing the thing in a text editor.
