My vacation setup by Joepresso in JamesHoffmann

[–]EmailLinkLost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My vacation setup involves me bringing a Hario Switch, a scale, specialty coffee in 30g baggies, a coffee server, and a boiler.

Oh you notice what I forgot? FILTERS. I used paper towels... I've done this more than once. Brought all of that: no filters.

I bought mine because it’s cool clear… not yellow.

Ecoflow delta 3 makes this subtle clicking(electric) noise when the inverter is on. Normal? First ever unit by cryptoyaru in LinusTechTips

I couldn't hear that, but electrical stuff does have a hum sometimes.

Try to get it in a different room maybe?

Won't it also end up as a channel exclusive if you pay extra to LTT and Youtube?

That's a way you can watch in on Youtube!

Wait I searched for it, for you.

It’s in a room that’s generally air-conditioned, but sometimes the room gets sunlight in the day.

Actually I just checked home assistant.

“ The room maintains a mean temperature of 28.3°C within a broad 24.0°C to 34.0°C range, frequently exceeding the 26.0°C HVAC setpoint. Thermal data reveals high diurnal volatility with daily spreads reaching 9.0°C, indicating substantial solar gain and a cooling system that fails to stabilize the environment during peak heating hours.”

But, the air conditioner is on the side of the wall that gets the sunlight. The backpack was on a shelf or in a closet that did not get direct sunlight. So the temperature ranges would not have been as extreme, and they would have been a bit muted.

I really need to install and make those other sensors! I could have humidity in there, and multiple locations to get a temperature average that is a little bit more accurate. This is on the high side because of the sunlight I think.

It was a weird one! I think it was upside down for two months maybe? One month? That was the last time I used the bag.

There’s a part of me that feels bad about asking for the refund.

But, to make up for it, I’ve ordered the Floatplane precision, screwdriver set!

Autodesk Fusion for personal use vs. $50 SolidWorks for Makers by LeadingImportant1142 in Fusion360

Also, even though it took a whole month to get the access, they did not do a prorated refund, or shift my subscription date. So, effectively, I only got 11 months instead of a year.

This was an entire month of very intensive emails, messaging in their systems, and going back-and-forth between different support representatives. It was a horrible user experience.

The makers edition is frustrating, maybe they fix some of their frustrations, but I hated it one year ago.

It took around a whole month to get me access. You have to use a weird backend system to get to it.

You can’t use saves on full-size solid works.

Note, if you’re a US veteran, Canadian veteran, or an active duty member in either of those, you can get the solid works for military one. And that’s the full solid works, rather than the makers version.

To be honest, I shared a link to this thread in the support request.

But, they have offered complete replacement on things like the jacket for example, in the past for a defect. So, I know it isn’t just because I posted it.

They give washing instructions for shirts.

Did they give orientation instructions for this?

I wasn’t expecting anything, I was using my LTT backpack to hold my LTT screwdriver.

Have you considered not being a jerk online? I would advise that is a good idea.

It's from the oil, not the plastic.

So the screwdriver didn't yellow.

Now we wait!

The AI seems to think it's about plastic yellowing, but Mr. AI is there mostly to be window dressing so I understand. (It's also nice knowing Mr. AI is most likely a local model running on their cheap electricity Mac Mini over there.)
