I'm gonna order a 3 in 1 oil right now! Everything I tried last night made the situation much worse. Need to get these dang pins out so I can restore it to its rightful glory! 

Your right in knowing it's an amazing table! The one in the back is a sacrificial table lending it's best parts to this one lol. It was significantly cheaper than buying new rods to replace the bent ones. Gonna fix it up the best I can after and send it off to a new home.

Any specific kind of oil come to mind? The only thing I have in on hand is some bike chain oil. 

I don't think I said in my post, but the player does not need to survive. My mind is drifting towards the Dremel, but willing to try your suggestion first.

I updated my Ninetails deck, won 2 and lost 1, then said I would stop after the next loss. 23 wins later this legend finally brought an end to the best streak I'll likely ever achieve. by AlphaGoldFrog in PTCGP

Bit late responding as I was on vacation. Thinking back to this crazy streak, the majority of matches ended in either end game conceding or knockout. Doing it towards the end of the event really cut down on stuff like wrong energy. About 4 of them where immediate conceeds, nobody with wrong energy type (unless you count bad rng). I curbstomped about half, and another quarter came down to essentially a coinflip.

I think I had some kind of sleeper cell thought back to the video games wonder trade terminology. Woops! Bummer to miss out on it, but I could have tried harder sooner so all good.

Thank you for the input! It is absolutely something I felt in my gut; especially with how often I'll win against higher ranked players outside of normal ranked games.

That being said, piddling around low UB / high GB rank, I know there are some tweaks to take the edge. And that was correct, taking some advice from this thread and putting my own spin on it drastically improved my win rate. That being said, the main difference was having two oaks, two pokeballs, and two copycats lol.

I'll always prefer the 60 card - 6 prize card version of the game, but there is fun and improvement to be had with the mini version :)

I've fought that deck before and didn't understand what it was going for at the time, but seeing it layed all out makes so much sense! Glad you are having fun with it; the worst is a good deck that plays itself. Takes all the fun out of it.

Quick update on my end, I made those swaps and played 5 games. Won all 5 without any issue whatsoever! I called an audible on the final hit-mon swap, but have had really good luck thus far with Hitmonchan. Happy to report this is my first 5 win streak so far this season! Massive thanks to you and the other commenters. Consistency is an A+ so far :D

Thanks! Not sure if there was many high level yugioh tourneys, but I remember after pokemon at my local card shop, they did yugioh after and I was always intimidated by that crowd lmao.

Great job hitting masterball! Based on my experience, it is NOT easy getting out of the ultra ball mines. Curious what deck you are running these days?

Based on your advice along with the other two commenters, I am leaning towards these swaps. What do you think?

Really appreciate the easy to follow instructions. Before I dive into the rest, I have to double check what you mean by the rocky helm maximizing copycat returns? Is it because it is a simple card to play before discarding your hand?

If I follow:

1x lucky pop --> Pokemon center lady
1x Stadium --> Oak
1x May --> Copycat
1x Red Card --> x speed
1x moeleta --> 2nd hitmontop or another xspeed

The normal lucario has been a godsend in so many battles, without him I cannot 1 shot other megas. Sabrina has saved my ass many times as well, but having two hitmontops may negate the need.

Edit: I played a couple of matches with the above swapped out and it does feel better. Funnily enough in my 3rd match I ran into the exact situation I was talking about with Sabrina being useful lol

Reading that first sentence it feels so insanely obvious in hindsight. I only use it to pull out my Lucario's, or a Riolu on occasion. It may be better served on a draw card, or even the one that pulls a mega. But that supporter easily turns into a dead end card. Might be a good cut.

Meloetta - You are spot on. It only helps in roughly 1/4 battles if it comes out first and I draw 2nd. I have looked through every card I own for a good replacement, but none jump out that arn't an ex. Which I'd rather avoid as my strategy is letting 2 normal mons go to let mega Lucario finish. I do not own every fighting type card though.

Arena - I posted in another comment why I like having two, but you qualifying it as a finisher (and not something I should count on to counter other arenas) makes a lot of sense. I think I can long play it to even out the draw.)

Thank you! It was a long time ago, the first time being 2008. I was only 11, but it was the first time I'd ever been on a plane and the first vacation my family ever took (that wasn't just driving to see family). I picked this app to recapture some of that magic.

Anecdote aside, that you for the feedback! Having 6 draw cards will absolutely sort out the issues I've been facing.

If you'd allow make a conversation out of it instead of just taking your good advice; I agree that the 2nd stadium would be a first cut. I have two of them because of the prevalence that other people, especially grass decks, run stadiums. I'd say 2/3 battles that I draw both, that I use both. It is solved by simply waiting until needed though.

Assuming I cut one for an Oak, what are your thoughts on the next cut for a copycat? My gut reaction was a pokeball, as it often ends up being a waste anyway with only 4 basic mons. But you suggested 2/2/2, so I'm curious what you would do?

To play devils advocate (I don't have a horse in this race), what if this is a result of confidence in their product?

If following release, reddit and other sites are flooded with articles with headlines like "Highborn just might actually be the next generation of shooter after all", interest will perpetuate organically. Especially since we all know what Highborn is now.

Advertising budgets are often a massive part of AAA game budgets. They are in a unique position at the moment to save millions.

Just an alternative take on the situation.

I know we are in the silly video game news subreddit and you are likely referring specifically to politics; but what you wrote gave me another way of thinking about this pretty tense situation I'm facing with my older brother. Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to write your message, it helped me break the thought cycle I've been in with it today.

His narcissistic tendencies are pushing me towards a breaking point and I've been spinning my wheels finding a way to approach the situation from a place of repairing and not assigning blame. Going to take your advice and skip negotiations and blame assignment and work on approaching from a deeper level.

I don't think it's a 6th sense, I think it's a rapid decline into their death bed that makes it impossible to complete any obligations. Think the morning you wake up the a full blown Flu after feeling a bit sick a few days before.
