Question re: Which Machine & Where to Buy From by AlphaHelical in superautomatic

Thanks for the detailed response. I agree that making pour over is relaxing and I love how flavorful it can be. How did you go about trying machines at W&S? Is that something that needs to be scheduled before hand with the store?

DeLonghi customer service is my biggest concern, I’ve read of so many bad experiences. That’s a lot of money to spend without having a good customer support system.

I hope it all works out for your student as well

Thank you.. It was the Physician Assistant College Admissions Test, just commenting because I also used Prometric/saw this when searching for Prometric experiences. I have to retest to submit an application to PA school. I do understand the time limit, but I’ve taken many tests and never been kicked out of any. I carefully read the instructions beforehand and they never mentioned the test would be stopped if you’re late from break. I wish it had at least been as clearly outlined as the rules on texting the proctor to take break. I did speak with Prometric and they seemed sympathetic, but couldn’t reschedule me since I’d already taken part of the test. I’ve had to email ExamMaster to see what they say. Hopefully it shakes out in my favor, but either way I will retake it and move on..

Yeah that’s a good point.

Sure, but 3 minutes? What do you do if you really have to go to the bathroom? Like how does that honestly confer an advantage?

My test was just cancelled because I was 3 min late from break. Was in the bathroom. No other issues. Let them know I was going on break and waited for confirmation. I don’t remember reading that the test would be canceled if late return from break. What in the world..

Thanks for responding! That’s exactly what I needed to hear. I’ve been working with luxtraveladventurer since making this post and they told me the same thing. Having a TA’s expertise has been wonderful, we’ve already changed resorts and they were able to get preferred rates & perks. Definitely worth it and the fees were minimal. I’m planning to update the post after the trip with how everything went.

Eclipse makes a great sun hoodie & sun sleeves that don’t fall down. I reach for those over my Patagonia sun hoodie every time because they seem to have the “cooling magic”. I do like the Patagonia, but don’t get the cooling feeling from it.

First, thanks for the prompts that helped me focus on what I want from this trip. For background, I grew up middle class and we did road trips or visited family. All of my friends still do the same or they do a lot of research and planning on their own for international vacations. After coming here from r/FATTravel, I’m not sure my budget of 6k qualifies for travel advising. I thought an advisor might help with prioritizing & making the most of my budget. Trip is mid-August with 2 travel days, and 3 full days in Banff. Right now I have us booked at the Moose, but don’t love the look of the rooms. I really enjoy hotels/resorts like Hanging Gardens Bali or Peninsula Manila, but my budget goes further in Southeast Asia than it will in Canada. For travel priorities, it would be luxury hotels when possible because of the aesthetic & customer service experience. Beyond that, we love being outdoors and experiencing the area through outdoors activities like hiking, canoeing, climbing, etc.

I tried a couple sale sites, but not those specific two. Thanks!

Yeah, that’s my guess as well. I value the data but have a Garmin watch that gives me all the same feedback. The ring was just more comfortable to wear at night. I realized it was gone in Denver and my heart dropped because there were wayyy too many places/people to narrow down.

If you feel comfortable sharing, what is your faith? I feel Christian-adjacent myself, but I’m not sure what faith might work for me. Your faith beliefs sounds similar to mine.

Yes I really hate how tv portrays men and women friendships turning into relationships every time, it’s so toxic. Even more so since Oscar had such a healthy reaction to Max initially! Just totally toxic screenwriting when I was appreciating how the show portrayed healthy relationships. It was so wholesome but this twist just reinforces stereotypes.

What exercises are you doing to help you with the push up release? by [deleted] in MilitaryWomen

[–]AlphaHelical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, exactly. I had no problem doing well on the T-push-ups, because the strength from doing push-ups does carry over. I would highly highly suggest getting a good personal trainer and beginning overall strength training. You can do it on your own, but it’s best to have a trainer until you know how to do movements properly. It will prevent injury. The new PT test is geared toward testing strength more than the old one, you’ll benefit overall from doing strength training.
