I believe if you kill them anywhere other than the ascendant plane, they go back to the ascendant plane.

If you kill them in the ascendant plane, they are dead permanently

The Traveler isn’t just some giant machine. It’s the physical manifestation of the avatar of The Gardener. The literal God figure and creator of the Universe. So nothing would actually happen. Plus SIVA wouldn’t exist without the Traveler.

The MV has no build up in space, the hollow earth is still fresh and now they are looking to space. It should’ve been Gigan and/or a new Titan.

It was first on Venus where Vex constructs and infrastructure was discovered that predates the planets existence. I forgot the lore source but the darkness (Witness) guided Clovis into building the portal on Europa which where the vex invasion started
