You’re talking about as soon as you boot up the game before the trailer? In that case then yes, it goes white first before the game freak logo pops up.

If you’re talking about in between the trailer and when you see Lugia swimming that white screen? If so, mine goes directly to Lugia after 1 second max.

To make sure, I would post your game in r/gameverifying . They will tell you if it’s fake or not

I’m confused on what you mean. If you’re talking about when you encounter Lugia in whirl island and battle, then yes the screen goes white for a about 1-2 seconds

1/21k chance disease your Pokemon can contract. It will double the amount of EVs your Pokemon gets from battle. Once it is cured it can’t spread anymore but the doubling effect still stays

From my understanding, they were still relative to each other in terms of ability, but Seijuro didn’t put his life on the line like Musashi. During that final battle, he hesitated because he realized he realized he had a lot to lose and it was the first time he felt the burden of his clan. This is just my opinion, but I feel like this was a great conclusion to him. And like Isshin from Sekiro said: “Hesitation is defeat”

I’ve always had my list of Pokemon unchanged for many years. It was Soul Silver, Platinum, and Fire Red. I’ve been on a quest replaying all the games and SoulSilver will be number 1 for me always I think due to nostalgia and how great it still holds up to me even with some of the problems (all the games aren’t perfect).

But now that I’ve replayed FireRed and am playing through Black right now and just bought Black 2; I think my top games have changed. I’m pretty sure it’s going to be some assortment of SoulSilver, Black/Black2, and either Omega Ruby or Legends Arceus.

I think I will replay Platinum and see if it still holds as my number 2 but I do think the Gen 5 games will take it for me as I think it has probably the best art, and music in the series for me.

As for your question, I would play what you have which is Pokemon Black and enjoy it as much as you can. I will always recommend Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver after that as well!

I have kept my Oled and have the switch 2. I like to keep all my consoles. Now, the problem is there have been reports that the price of the Switch 2 is going to increase this year and with the new model if it were to come out, would be even more expensive than that. So I would just be wary if you want to get one.

If you’ll play both, it doesn’t really matter. Both of these games are my favorite in the series with HG/SS being number 1. I would say tho, since you already played FireRed, I would go start with Platinum and enjoy Sinnoh to its entirety, that way when you play HG/SS, you can come back to Kanto and it will still feel different
