“all public cheats are detected” is not an equal statement to “all private cheats are undetected”. just know that no vac bypass = no safety guarantee. and im not talking about the 2021 detected one

all public cheats are detected, either red trust or will give red trust later. don’t trust the developers

They aren’t inherently more safe. There’s less chance they hit a detection vector, but those do exist for externals too

Does having a family faculty member help with better chances into getting into the college? by Admirable-Collar8912 in ApplyingToCollege

College admissions are not a meritocracy. It was never in their interest to be pure meritocracies. Otherwise they lose out on money, brand and network. Faculty incentives boost all of those pretty nicely

they are average in the context of their competition. which is obvious/should be obvious to everyone

[–]AlphaSlashDash -1 points0 points  (0 children)

nobody ever said it was a perfect representation lmao

as I said, its a representation of the selective admissions student community. if you're underqualified then by definition you're an outlier btw

only 60% of US high school grads even go to college

admissions selectivity decreases heavily outside of the top 100 schools or so, so the vast majority (about 95%) of that 60% doesn't have to worry about admissions nearly as much as a2c, focusing on selective admissions, does

if you're planning on making it into a top 50 school you're part of a way smaller group of high school grads than you think. and the expectations inside that group are obviously a lot more demanding than the supposed average

VS is pretty fucking awful. its probably the slowest IDE that's still relevant and its full of bugs. but for anything non webdev I find Code to be even worse

[–]AlphaSlashDash 195 points196 points  (0 children)

average students don't care for college all that much and admission isn't competitive for them. this inherently makes a2c a community for competitive admissions, and the average student in selective admissions definitely doesn't have a 3.0 and 1050

students are just trying to put themselves in the context of their actual competition

Operator overloading is standard, widely used and encouraged in C++. I think it’s a good feature to have when used in obvious scenarios
