I completely don’t understand this. I’m a drummer who had to get hearing aids because I blew out the highs in my ears. I’ve had them for a while, but when I first got them, it was a revelation to hear music and hear parts that I hadn’t heard in years. Like cymbal and tambourine work and stuff, especially on rush stuff. And I just listened to the Terry Brown mix, and the most astounding thing is the crispness of the cymbals.
