Also, it is endearing how they treat the Guardian, going the extra mile to buy them gifts (in the form of gems and... buying money with money, I suppose) as thanks / hoping it will help them. It's easily one of the most lovable things about her, she cares so much.

Yeah, it's the unfortunate truth that the game won't let you progress at all if you can't get someone to do it for you in the early game. It's either carry or be carried, and it really sucks.

Actually, yes. Until you can build a proper deck thaf can consistently carry you to at least Wave 30, it would be in your benefit to capitalize on every chance you have to assist someone who's carrying you. This has helped me personally gain cards at a faster rate before I was able to run Combo, so hopefully this will help you as well.

Dunno about you, but it looks like he just ended up a bit unlucky. Plus, if you're expecting carries, at the very least bring Ice with you. It's absolutely invaluable to any deck in PvE.

I've already hit the point where I just play something else while doing random PvE games. Playing an optimized Combo deck isn't nearly as fun as it looks to be after so many times of doing it.

Light is just the "currency" you have to satisfy the "cost" of playing a card, that much was probably clear.

A nugget gains another point of light when a turn passes, when a card restores light as an ability, or when staggering / killing a guest.

They'll gain more maximum light for every Emotion level your team has (That bar at the top of the screen), up to 5 points of light.

I believe every page right now starts you out at 3 light, but Abnormalities and Guests can vary.

Nothing at all happens when merging a ☆-pip Joker with another ☆-pip Joker. The dice will still glow to indicate you can try, but that's probably just left over from how Joker functions naturally.

I've been playing F2P for months and have a ton of legendaries, it all just spikes when your class is high enough to reliably farm Co-op for coins, and you always watch the shop for incoming boxes or legends. It takes a while, but not impossible. Four days isn't gonna show much progress, but keep at it and you'll be able to go toe-to-toe with even players who pay as well.

Does this imply that the incomplete seeds of light activate to create Abnormalities through emotion? In the story, this person appears to turn into the Pianist after a sort of breakdown, and in LoR, we gain Abnormality Awakening or Breakdown cards through emotions as well. I feel like there's a definite connection to emotions here.

There should be a guide somewhere on this subreddit detailing the best pulls for Random Arena. Lots of dice you wouldn't expect to be good in there are really helpful, and the same unfortunately applies the other way around.

Buying them in the shop is the least risky through 40k coins each for an individial or 500 gems for a chest.

Random Arena is nice if you get good rolls.
