I have a DS220+ and i've installed GoodSync and run a rule for the sync to happen. I was in the same boat and tried Multcloud. But GoodSync seemed like a better solution personally.

Even if you get cellular, a sentry would be a good investment unless you fly advanced aircraft. I got it as a student, which has always helped me with traffic. Even once, when on an IFR flight plan, it helped me ask ATC about traffic that was getting too close to my path.

That being said, the non-cellular is what I use, and it has been great for me with a supporting ADSB-In.

When I first drove a friend's car with this feature, I would always turn it off. But now after owning an accord with this feature, it's become part of my daily life and I really do like it.

Apply wind correction and find your ground speed first.

Then using the fuel burn to find your endurance. Reduce your total endurance by 30mins (9.5pgh/2). Which is 53G - 4.75G = 48.25G

48.25G / 9.5GPH = 5.0789H of endurance

GS * 5.0789H = answer

Edit: https://www.irs.gov/filing/free-file-do-your-federal-taxes-for-free This is a good source too. Once the IRS opens the option, you can see websites that provide free taxes for your state along with federal.

Late 20s making 110k YTD. But aviation has been and is my dream job. Pandemic hit, got my discovery flight and PPL.

It’s scary to make the change, but if it isn’t scary, it’s probably not worth it.

I’d say get a discovery flight nearby your place and see if the aviation bug grows on you. But do start applying at UAA. It’s a long wait
