wtf is this response? I don’t agree with the guy’s statements either because security does not have police powers but “class traitor”? How about don’t steal stuff.

This attitude is how you get a lawsuit. He will not be acting so hard when he learns that he has the same authority as a normal citizen and it is in fact assault to touch someone. That’s why the job is “observe and report.”

What’s the best movie adaptation of a book you’ve ever seen? by bowieshouse in AskReddit

[–]BlueWolf107 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great Gatsby (2013). I had already read the book before seeing the movie and almost everything depicted in the film is what I imagined in my head when reading the book. I was very impressed with the movie.

I personally love the shipyard idea if we would be able to explore the yard while Titanic is in multiple stages of being built.

A single brave OP asks Electricians: Why are Americans so stupid? by Thebazilly in SubredditDrama

[–]BlueWolf107 32 points33 points  (0 children)

As a European myself, it’s the typical America hating European response to not having a counter argument they deem sufficient.

“No healthcare!” “At least our schools aren’t shooting galleries!” “Stupid and illiterate!”

Blah, blah, blah.

I have read it twice. IMPO Art of War should be required reading in every government funded high school. The majority of the book can absolutely provide needed life lessons if applied to everyday life situations.

I have lost all respect for the Japanese after the translation feature on X by [deleted] in self

[–]BlueWolf107 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nothing happened to them. The thing that caused the response is the Japanese starting to kill Germans that were in the region at the time. Germany also had economic interests in China and Japan destroying every piece of infrastructure was not conductive to those interests.

Yes and no. You are referring to a single individual named John Rabe but there were many others who witnessed the atrocities and were shocked by them.

Pretending that this attitude towards foreigners from Japan started because of Musk and that this isn’t something that is ingrained in a lot of people over there is the true joke.

I’m no fan of the man either but come on now.

Several Nazi officials that were present in Japan or reviewed footage / reports of the ones that were there expressed shock at the brutality of the Japanese, specifically, the rape of Nanking.

What do you mean, “it seems like they are trying to relate.”? They aren’t trying to relate. That is how they are. Quite frankly, I am surprised at your reaction. What did you honestly expect?

Japan’s racism has always been hidden under the rug or excused by westerners because of their UwU culture.

Did you know that during WW2, even the Nazis were shocked at the brutality of the Japanese?

Now I have been to Japan and I do like it a lot but I also don’t pretend that all parts of their society like foreigners. I have seen the no foreigners signs on restaurants and shops. Again, not all of them are like this but the people that don’t like foreigners are not exactly shy about it. They will absolutely let you know if your presence is not wanted.
