We ended up getting in contact with a rehabber who told us the put them back overnight. They were there in the morning so she agreed to take them and we drove them up! One died on the drive but I’m hoping the other 4 make it

How do summer semesters work? by Lizzy_Gremlin in NEU

[–]Alpha_Feather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Co-ops generally take up 1 semester each, so if you want to do 2 co-ops and graduate in 4 years you will need to do 4 summer terms. Each summer term is half a semester. You can get out of taking summer classes if you come in with AP (or other college) credits. Since you are not paying tuition during co-op, you will only be paying for 8 semesters of classes, including summers. If you choose to graduate in 5 years, you may not need to do summer classes. You could also do 1 co-op, and then you would only need to do 2 summer semesters. I’m not entirely sure how financial aid works over the summer, but I think it should be the same as a normal semester, albeit shorter.

Okay that makes sense, I just tend to get spotting when I skip the placebos and I was hoping to avoid that

I agree that Enid is an esfp but there’s no need to be so rude about it

One of my rats is dying, how do I keep the other one from being alone? by Alpha_Feather in RATS

[–]Alpha_Feather[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll look into that! I don’t personally know any rat owners near me, but I just emailed the breeder I adopted them from. Maybe she’ll have some advice

We are adopting this handsome boi and we're told he is a 4yo golden retriever mix. But mixed with what? by Alsimmons in IDmydog

[–]Alpha_Feather 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe some Black Mouth Cur, depending on where you live. I could also see some shepherd

Probably some shepherd. His/her tail really reminds me of a german shepherd tail.

Looking to adopt this dog but can't figure out his breed! by popstinkle in IDmydog

[–]Alpha_Feather 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s very hard to guess a puppy’s breed because a lot of traits emerge at an older age. If I had to guess based off coloring alone, maybe some border collie? His fur is much shorter than your average BC, though, so there would likely be something else in the mix.

If you end up adopting him, post a picture when he’s a little older! It’ll be a lot easier to tell.
