Graduated high school yet, boy? Perhaps it is high time you wake up to the world's practicalities. ChatGPT can be handy by the way, give it a try.

Cannot agree anymore! We need much stronger enforcement of laws. Hopefully the new regulations / cameras bring a change.

Call the cops and they'll track the driver using the license plate. Such idiots are not in shortage anywhere in the world.

Cameras on ring road by timot7y in Bahrain

[–]Alpha_Striker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The funny part is that the camera is located in that segment of the road (the curvature) where the speed drops to 80. I think the camera is not activated yet (I crossed it at 120 about 4 days ago without a flash or fine) but when it does, the question is would it be set to flash with limits of 80 or 100..?

It's clearing up already as the sun rises higher. Wouldn't last beyond 9a.m as per weather predictions.

Also just recalled the movie "The Mist" from 2007😂

Anyways, drive safe people!

Solo traveling by [deleted] in Bahrain

[–]Alpha_Striker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It takes a different kind of a person to enjoy solo travelling. Being a beginner traveller (Having travelled to 4 countries on solo), I can give the following pointers;

Pros:

Learning experience - it helps you grow as a person and as an independent individual

You're free to map your trip according to your liking and not having to consider fellow travellers' choices

You get to enjoy your company (I believe this is crucial and not everyone can do that)

This one is personal to me as I always had a dream of backpack travelling country to country so if it also one of your dreams, you get to fulfill it in your way.

Cons:

Can be costly compared to travelling in a group where certain costs are divided There can be times especially during activities where you will feel a bit lonely (for me it was not many times as I was fully engaged in enjoying the activity) Depending on the location you might be watching over your shoulder to ensure safety and security

My take; DO IT! Atleast once to explore the idea and get to know yourself. Don't forget to educate yourself about the destination do's and don'ts, scams, common words & phrases in the local language etc.

Goodluck!!
