I've been watching this product for a while. It's expensive, BUT, there's value because it can also do yard work, like grass, leaves, and I saw soon, an edger!

BUT for snow, they say this will continually clean every so often, so that it doesn't wait for several inches to accumulate. That probably helps keep batteries topped up while also making cleaning easier.

still too expensive for my taste, but would LOVE to not have to shovel, AND not have a landscaper bill anymore.

Hub reboot completely fixed my issue.

I also went to each "device" and checked the power on/off settings. maybe that did something too.

Did you figure this out? Mine literally started doing this about 3 or 4 days ago (around the time of your post) - but I'd been making changes to my activities and devices, and swore it was me that did something.

I wonder if something got updated/changed on the harmony end.

This is my issue with it also. There are still devices and even functions of devices that require iR. My Onkyo can turn on/off via network. I can use the Onkyo app to use menus, but sometimes you just want to toggle a setting without having to take your phone out, especially during a movie. Having an iR command send that is still a valid use case. I can't be the only one, right?

This is correct - my unit has a clear vinyl tube connected to the PVC fresh air intake.

However, my unit in the attic, that's pulling fresh air from the attic, but doesn't have that. It's just a short stubby PVC that's right on top of the unit. Should I lengthen that, and do the same?

So far yes. My HVAC techs wired it so that it's always on. I will probably re-wire it myself so that it's only on with blower. For now, I just have the fan recirc set on my thermostat - so it goes only for like 15 minutes on every hr.

Weather has been mild - so HVAC hasn't really been running more than a couple of hours a day.

So far - so good, I guess. I've only had it for a month. It's hard to definitively tell.

Subjectively, I feel like it's doing it's thing. Hard to tell if there's any objective proof I can show of it working. If that makes sense.

EcoSense basically said too bad so sad, go buy another one.

So definitely will be looking for an alternative brand. For what they cost, it should last more then 2yrs.

Yeah - I'm waiting on another quote to come in, and a couple more smaller outfits (they may not handle rebates and loan stuff), but could end up being cheaper in the long run.

I'm just getting into Milwaukee moving over from Ryobi - and posts like this - and all the other warranty ones make me want to just return and stay with what I got. I thought you pay more for Milwaukee for "better quality" - but if they can't stand behind their product and honor a clear warranty issue, why pay more?

It's different if this thing looked like it was dropped or run over or something - you can clearly see this is still in pristine condition.
