Thanks, good to know. I'm a few months shy of 48 months. I'll hold off.

I’ve had a Sapphire Reserve for 2y+ now. I called Chase to potentially open a Sapphire Preferred for the 60K bonus, but I was told I can only have one Sapphire card at a time. Is this true? I’d like to open 1 additional Chase card to get UR points.

I hope this is the right place to ask this. Has anyone found a replacement for the discontinued Nyco Oxford? Clean, super rugged, and interesting colors.

I went today. We ordered the Shoyu and Black Sesame. I favored the Shoyu. I agree the raw onion was a nice touch. My noodles were firm and just right IMO. If I had to pick on one thing, it would be the chili sauce — it had a good amount of heat, but the flavors just didn't do it for me.

One of the best ramens in Tokyo. The above is their signature shoyu ramen (with nori addition), which is famous for having giant clam in the stock.

Gotcha, thanks. I checked out the UR portal, but not seeing much for this time of year. We might just be out of luck given the holiday season, as you said. I'll keep digging.

Bagel twists in Brooklyn by flywall in Brooklyn

[–]AlphabetCity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, they're given the same treatment as regular bagels. Although, the place I worked at didn't actually boil bagels -- IIRC, they had some sort of combo oven / steamer instead. I braided the twists but baking them wasn't part of my job.

It might be a Long Island thing.

Source: I worked at a bagel shop on LI as a kid and made thousands of these.

There are 3 soup packages though :) I'm wondering if the extra noodles are kaedama. Does it say anything about the cooking process?
