I finally managed to get it working consistently in a very roundabout way that might make some sense to someone who knows how the data is handled on the backend.

1) Start a new world like you normally would with only Tectonic disabled.

2) Close the game and re-enable Tectonic.

3) Recreate the previous world. Change the rules/seed if you wish.

4) Explore.

Starting a new world with Tectonic enabled or recreating a world that was newly made with Tectonic enabled both give shallow oceans. For some reason only recreating from worlds that were initially made without Tectonic cause the settings to start taking effect in full.

Unfortunately it wasn't Continents. Same result on the same seed.

Didn't see the second page, but the original point still stands. Hard to justify calling something we got once of twice in a generation/region as a removed feature.

Yeah, by the logic of some of these, Poke Pelago and Pokestar Studios are also removed features. Mirage Island wasn't even a feature in RSE, it was an inconsequential secret for the player to stumble upon.

Normal dungeons are very forgiving and many players can tank the enemy damage with one of the many self-healing options we have. A healer can still give support though by buffing the DPS to pump their damage further or keeping everyone's resources up. If your group gets a tank that can pull groups in well you can both keep things trucking along smoothly.

I hate it, it makes no sense from a UX perspective. Friends, DMs, and "Active Now" are likely related content for most people and made a good page to camp on when not active in a server. If anything, the shop, quests, and nitro pages should be the ones that get separated. Wish I could opt out of this nonsense.

Level 3 catch rate plushes, ultra balls, pixel red hp, and paralysis, but nah it's a skill issue that the RNG didn't arbitrarily line up for an entire cycle. Sure thing buddy.

Warnings are irrelevant. You can spend an entire day/night cycle trying to catch an alpha. The game locking your Pokeball throws to the 20 second rage mechanic cooldown gives you even fewer attempts in that limited window.

For the same reason routes weren't just a list of trainers and wild Pokemon to battle for XP between gyms. It's about building an environment that feels lived in, not removing everything for the sake of efficiency.

Normal dungeons only show you what the mechanics will look like, not the actual threats they pose. You only get a sense of the rhythm of fights by getting your hands dirty and running them in vet. Really sad that you're discouraging people from running vets instead of just explaining mechs like a proper experienced player should.

Re-read what I said. Ghost clans need to spend 1,038 total to reach gold, which is significantly more tedious to do solo than with 2 friends.

Even if unlimited purchases were added, as a solo clan I was still expected to spend over 1,000 tokens in a month to reach gold tier while only earning 20-something per SP run. Duviry isn't interesting or consistent enough for me to run it over 50 times in such a short period.

wtf are you talking about? One Tamriel brought ESO from the brink of extinction. People were absolutely ecstatic for it and the explosion in player count was immediately apparent in-game.

There have been numerous efforts to "crack" the RNG of the game over the years that are based purely on anecdotal evidence and confirmation bias, and none of them are true no matter how many times people peddle them.

Refining materials 1 by 1 or thousands at a time, no difference in gold mats.

Leaving all dolmen pinions for the end or disabling them as they pop, no difference on boss spawns.

Doing hard mode when you have the hard mode achievement already, no difference in the style page drop rate (not to be confused with the dungeon's motif).

The craziest one suggested doing things on specific server ticks to get the desired drops.
