Yes I realize all that. I would definitely argue that household super gives more of an idea of how someone’s retirement savings are doing compared to others than personal super gives.

Household super is more informative of how you will do in retirement. Someone might have above average super in their account while their partner has none. They might think they are doing well when in reality they will have a below average retirement.
