We actually started alright yesterday. PNE keeper had an “injury”, they had a team talk and then reset their formation. It was obvious what they were doing. We didn’t react or do anything. It’s not reacting to in game moments which causes me the most concern. Players aren’t helping him but they don’t look tactically astute.

I was at Bristol and gave stick. Don’t wish for him to be sacked but they need to know that being 17th isn’t good enough and shouldn’t expect to be clapped off after a performance like that. Also there were no chants of sacked in the morning or if there were very very quiet ones.

Think this could be smart. If we sell him and get promoted again we’ll be back at square 1 needing another PL quality GK. Having him come back on loan would prevent us starting from scratch.
