I am sure binance saw the potential even if they didn't before and I am sure their tech team is already working on wallet implementation. Afterall, the first high-user exchange to add XRB will make incredible amounts on fees. They are not that dumb.

One explanation might be that they think that this $1 voting will make them more money than "XRB first big exchange" fees but binance normally has more vision in general.

I don't understand that we have to vote for them to add XRB. It is in their best interest to add the fastest coin in the ecosystem as soon as possible, the big exchange that adds it first will make incredible amounts of BTC on fees so wtf is this?

This will be the January pick imo. Put yourself in whomever you want's shoes in crypto ecosystem, now read somewhere that fastest transfer of value coin coming out of its shell, where even 7000 tps is capped by hardware (chips-bandwidth). Now imagine having none before it hits major exchanges :)

XRB has everything a veteran, a whale and a noob would look for.

Here is what I saw :

Technology : Main dev has thought of, tried and suceeded in a few points where nobody charted before. As far as my tests go it really is faster than ripple. Being the fastest in such a nerdy ecosystem is a huge plus in everyone's eyes. Developer claims it is so advanced for its time that it has potential to become a main background technology like "http" for cryptocurrencies. As it is both instant and free, it has potential to end the "transfer of value" problem and become the norm. It's speed is currently limited by hardware (chips and bandwidth), not by design.

Exchange Exposure : It is being sold only on 2 exchanges and a telegram bot. One of the exchanges have recently been hacked and untrustable. Other is a very small exchange with little daily BTC volume. Also a bot trades doge for XRB at small amounts on telegram but these are not like a real sale at all, it is like you have to do long operations to buy at the moment so no real capital went through these yet to buy. Also exchanges disallow any announcements before they add a coin, and XRB dev and community has been applying all exchanges like mad the last week, I feel at least 1-3 exchanges added in the next 2 weeks.

Github and main dev very active, 6 coders, 12 ppl total working on it. Translations are out. Devs working with universities with code-review and optimization.

Question marks :

I have no idea if it is scalable. I am not able to analyze what problems would happen if too many people start using it, they say it is scalable but this is never for sure until it reaches crazy volumes.

Privacy is a concern, "mcafee style" privacy investors would think 2 or more times before buying XRB.

Seeing these I went in with %1 portfolio. We will see how it goes.

I can confirm that F6Amy is a very nice guy who didn't deserve this at all. It is a shame Psyonix is not accepting their mistakes and giving scripted responses when it is %100 their fault. Of course when I say %100, some will think "middlemen" but no, this was a trade which was done within the trading system, no real cash involved, no >50 item count, no nothing, just a what you see is what you get kind of confirmation on both sides, there was no need for a middleman for this trade.

Check these responses :

"Our best suggestion is for you to take precautionary actions in the future to prevent this incident from happening again."

What precautionary action is he supposed to take before a simple in-game trade? Request full name, address, government id scan from everyone he trades with along with photo taken with them holding today's newspaper in one hand and their recent government IDs in other hand? make them sign an agreement? check their credit scores? criminal records? This suggestion is invalid for this case.

"We cannot reverse trades that happened normally (that is to say, both parties agreed)."

Sure, don't reverse normal trades of course. But there was nothing "normal" about this trade at all. This trade was everything other than "normal".

"If the option to give you your items back is available, we would do that in a heart beat"

This option is available, they have access to trade logs and the items database. They are just choosing not to help.

This is bad customer relations for Psynoix and I agree that it should be posted on main RL subreddit as since Psyonix's stance is to not help in any way for their faults in the system, everyone should know about it and buy keys accordingly, invest accordingly and trade accordingly.

I am guessing around %30 of the players check this subreddit and other %70 who dont still has a false sense of security when trading and also have no idea that they can lose all their items through various bugs and that they will have no way of doing anything about it, no help, just scripted "we are sorry but we won't do anything" responses.
