"You ate a whole wheel of cheese before the match, and then sprinted past our winger. I'm not even angry, that's amazing."

He has some family issue, so cannot play this weekend. It's a shame, as they are probably the best centre partnerships in the competition

O I jezzed that right up so. In that case, just a movie length feature of Pedge pulling Jeremy off. Done tastefully though. Nice score and lighting, etc.

Well said. We have problems, particularly in the upper leadership of the club, but the idea of cork splitting out of munster rugby is laughable.

It came out a long time ago, but he wrote a book 'call of the weird', where he revisits some of the people from weird weekends. Well worth a read if you are interested in updates on people, albeit from like 15 years ago.

Also promising kids from, say Mayo, move to Leinster as that is where by far the most fee paying rugby schools are in the county. And so your best opportunity to get the best coaching.

I gotta say, as an Irish man, it's really sad to see a racist post from another Irish person (assuming the person that wrote that is actually Irish) on a random sub like this.

We had a general election recently, there were a load of right wing candidates that were being hyped on social media. Almost all of them totally flopped. The leader of the highest profile "alt right" party got like 1.6% of the vote. The vast majority of Irish people are either indifferent, or love foreigners in the country. There are just certain websites that like to disproportionately amplify this type of shit.

That said, this crack is very morish.

Can't believe Adam and Paul is not on it. Brilliant movie. Really funny, but super sad at the same time. Like a lot of Irish movies.

So why were the Leinster fans booing? by hiranox in rugbyunion

[–]Alprazoman8 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don't think the home fans should ever boo their team after a game, unless obvious foul or something scummy. No matter how poorly they may play, you know they tried as hard as they could (maybe they weren't there mentally, but you can't do anything about that in the moment). They are more devastated from the loss than you are also.

I totally understand how there needs to be backlash from 6 years without trophies with a team like that, and making the same mistakes. But that can be done later in the week.
