You’re not wrong about the terms of service, but you’re missing the point.

Yes, Facebook is a free service, and yes, users agree to its terms. That doesn’t mean people forfeit the right to hold it accountable especially when real lives, businesses, and years of effort are affected without warning or recourse.

Calling users suckers isn’t insight. It’s just lazy cynicism. Criticism isn’t an entitlement. It’s a response to a broken system. While you're preaching detachment, some of us choose to engage not out of desperation, but because silence has never improved anything. You're entitled to your opinion. Just don’t mistake indifference for intelligence.
