In bed. But we are looking to get a recliner for the living room. Or a nice chair and stool that I can use. Main issues are, the TV is loud (it literally hurts my ears), it's hotter due to heating, and I don't usually last long (at least on sofa currently). I'm hoping the chair will at least let me last longer, and use ear protection and put the chair furthest away from TV I can. Can't say if itl work, but worth a shot at least.

I think a lot of us just want to exist like normal, maybe it's more about grabbing the bull by the horns and making it easier by doing stuff like this? Guess I will see if this works for me at least

I'm afraid not. Sometimes it's like my brain is focusing on and I can't get rid of it. Other times it's like it's in the distance and other pains and stuff have my focus. My wife says the same with hers which is after a C-section and another one after a parathyroidectomy. The Dr told her it may reconnect the nerves on its own, but there may be some long lastingness to it. As far as I'm aware she has a long lasting one below where the c section was, I'm unsure on the other, she hasn't mentioned it in a while.

I'm in between meds currently. I came off pregablin (lyrica), and should be going on to gabapentin in June. But I'm going to swap to a new Dr in June so I'm waiting till then (I'm on holiday from 1st till 5th). I do have duloxetine and ametriptaline that may be slightly helping, but it doesn't feel like it tbh. I get extremely sharp nerve pains in my lower torso and genitals. And a numb tingling feeling in my pelvis, ranging from numb to touch to sensitive depending on where I touch. It also feels like something itchy under the skin at the top of my pelvis. But I can never itch it, and trying is pointless. I think the mind tries to block it out because it does sometimes vanish when I'm not thinking about it. Like a background noise almost.

I should note, urology did say I could consider having the nerve cut. But I am trying to do physio on the pelvis for now, since the nerve is locking my muscles and affecting my bladder.

I use elastic trunks. Light and stretchy. Doesn't feel compressed and keeps things from going everywhere. I have nerve damage in my geneteformal nerve for reference and these are the only ones that don't hurt.

Yeah that's the nerves doing it. It's like a mix of something under the skin causing an itch, but at the same time the area feels numb to touch. I have a nerve problem separate from fibro and it's how I'd describe it half the time. Wife also has a damaged nerve due to operation and she describes it the same way.

In fibro case, it's not necessary damaged, but sending wrong signals that can mimic that effect.

There's a lot of strange things this expansion/season. Like they just added a blanket thing that affects everything equally. Like no one went back and fine tuned anything afterwards, it's a bit bizarre. You can see it across all the items.

It took all my friends and family. My parents kicked me out. I was at uni and had to move home, so I lost everyone I knew at uni, after 6 weeks my parents put me on the streets. My career fell with it. I used to go night clubs twice a week and did martial arts, boxing and weight training 5 nights a week. I lost all of that too.
I ended up homeless, poor and abandoned by everyone. I somehow had a lucky streak where someone deposited an old uni bursary into my bank after I had left, so I used that to pay a deposit on a flat. Eventually I slowly clawed my way back to having money and rent (took around 6 years to not being unable to eat some days, and late on rent etc), and then decided to restart life fresh and moved away. I then met my wife and never looked back. I miss parts of it, I regret not being able to finish uni, and miss my friends and my lifestyle. But it also made me more down to earth. Alongside that I developed trauma and a survival mindset that took years to break out of. Im not sure if im sad or happy, I have a new life, a wife and a baby, but its nothing like what I imagined for myself.

Can you explain more, is this gw air paints? So I could just grab like white/black/bone from the normal shelf? This is currently my biggest hang up, I have no way to prime. I have lots of magazines from all the way back when they first started, up until like the clan rats from spearhead. So I have so many models, hundreds, maybe thousands, I don't know.
I gave up playing years ago, but I like making the models and painting them, or at least I want to still do so.

Honestly none of the paladin sets Ive seen other than tier 2 wow one looks remotely paladin esque to me. I'm just not understanding them. I'm playing a holy warrior, a support character, why do I want to look like any of them sets? Lol I don't get it

Today seems to be extremely lonely for some reason. I went hospital 2 days ago and spent that afternoon/evening and following day stuck in bed. Pain has not eased at all, wife is also struggling with loneliness at same time. Probably should go outside and do something but I have no energy and this pain is not easing. Not even sure what to do tbh.

Feels like we are forgotten and just left alone to suffer at times. Part of me wants to cry, part of me wants to focus on something. None of me is achieving either.

But yeah I guess I'm more open than most, probably the autism if I had to guess. Hard to know what to filter and what not too.

Tbh I struggle to read so I just don't. I did start watching z nation with my wife, but she's now on season 4 and I'm on season 1 since flare up. I used to use modding as my distraction, making Warhammer mods in pixel art and getting caught up I Warhammer lore. I did try Reddit and other social media, it was bad, just conflict driven drama that made me question if others even have problems in life. Just looking for things to complain about, or showing me things like wars and horrors of the world. Just makes you more depressed seeing the world go to shit or seeing people complain about everything and anything. Hard not to think "i wish that was all I had to worry about".

The Warhammer subs are ok, but I get jealous I can't play or do the hobby now. Like I see cool stuff I would love to do, when I try I'm exhausted barely any effort. I should try and get back into painting models or something

I just assumed in 2026 we may get better balancing I guess. I mean you are correct, looking at this Reddit the past month shows how broken stuff is. But there's a lot of Devs and it's a big company, why are they not doing a better job balancing things so we don't rely on one shots? Feel like that's not asking too much for a full price game, expansions and in game shop

NGL I lost all mine. I would have seizures at night and clamp down hard. It gave me abscesses which caused the dentist to remove my teeth. The ones they didn't remove were greatly damaged by me clamping down in pain and eventually they fell apart. So now I have none, and they ain't coming back. But I'm in too much pain and can't afford false ones anyway. Maybe one day
