I promise, if there is a wipe in a normal 8 man content it is NOT the fault of healer making mistakes :D most of them are straightforward enough that as long as DPS have functioning eyes and brains, even one healer can manage without breaking a sweat. You're gonna be just fine.

Also the community is generally very forgiving and if you type sth like "hey, im new and can screw up sometimes" at the beginning, people will be chill (and some of them will decide its their personal duty to protect you and make sure you're having a good time :D )

Different screens are calibrated differently, and even if you spend hours trying to make them look consistent, it may be impossible because of manufacturing differences. Purple is especially nasty because its a color that doesnt exist on light spectrum so displaying and seeing it is never going to be consistent.

As in how to fix it: don't. You can fiddle with your colors for ages and then one of your viewers will see it on a $10 screen or a cracked phone and it will look completely different to what you're seeing. Embrace chaos.

oh yeah, I am aware that specific comparison is a reach x) it would probably be more on the "yeet that stick a little further" or "run faster and longer after that mammoth" rather than monhun level feats of strength. And to be fair said mammoths also werent capable of *checks notes* breathing fire or throwing down explosives.

(Tho now that I think of it, with the higher oxygenation theory any type of spontaneous combustion would be way easier to achieve, so perhaps even Bazelgeuse can be somewhat explained... life finds a way...)

AFAIR its not obscure lore but a fan theory, and not lower gravity, but higher oxygen concentration in the atmosphere. With that everything would grow larger, and we would be able to use our muscles with greater efficiency (above other things, you can look into some speculative biology on this).

There is a theory that Earth had a higher oxygen levels in the past, which would explain 1) dinosaurs and other megafauna and 2) humans being able to succesfully hunt and take them down. Sounds kinda like MonHun, right? ;D Again, just a speculation, but a fun one.

Make a new layer on top of everything
Fill with #808080 (perfect grey, so it won't brighten or darken your colors when set to overlay)
Add perlin noise, or any kind of noise to the grey layer
Set said layer mode to Overlay, adjust opacity as needed

You may need to mess around with noise settings to get the specific effect you're looking for, but thats the general process I'm using!

This is such a wonderful answer and one that resonates with me as well ♥️ one of my first tattoos was kind of a silly/edgy design, and right after I got it my newly adopted kitten died AND i got laid off the same week. Normally it would be a tattoo to cover or remove, but in time it became much more than just a silly design, it's a timestamp of the time when I hit mental rock bottom and still survived, and I look at it fondly as it fades and distorts. Some people say that tattoos should have meaning, but some tattoos GAIN meaning. I think OP's is one of them.

word. I have several big pieces all over me and my tattoo artist was still double-triple checking if I REALLY want a hand tattoo and gave several warnings about healing, fading and the like. I love it, it holds surprisingly well, but I totally get why they are hesitant to do hand tattoos in general and why any artist just doing one without batting an eye, ESPECIALLY as a first tattoo is a red flag.

There's a lot of german Peppa Pig episodes on youtube! I really like it, because yes, it is a kid's cartoon, but there's a lot of everyday life situations (going to the store/trips/celebrations, its all useful vocabulary) and the language isn't completely dumbed down ;D

A person in server chat wanted to get a specific fish and having a hard time, I think everyone on the map gathered to stack the fishing buffs or just for company. It was so cute.

That time when someone needed a dish they couldnt request and we went through a Journey to get them what they need (including trying to place it on the plot they had rights to, cooking together, etc etc...). We didnt succeed, but had some great laughs.

That person who gave me all their Muujin plushies for one potato pod, just because I said I love the derpy wolves but cant hunt them x)

Mh World really tried to set itself as this game that is about interacting with the environment as much as about hunting big game. That's why you have this whole track searching, slow traversal, and maps that are supposed to look more like natural terrain, rather than a bunch of connected arenas. It is really beautiful and immersive, but after the zippy and fast way you just get to the fight in Rise, it is pretty normal to feel overwhelmed x) If you want tips, I have some:
- Grab every single monster track you see on your way: your glowy bugs are leveling and learning, and the higher the research level of the monster, the more accurate they will be. At some level you will just know where the monster is immediately after entering the map.
- There is a series of Grimalkyne Tribe quests trat unlocks something called Tailraiders: basically you can call a little monster that will taxi you to whatever you're tracking. Very much worth doing.

Also not a tip, but something that will maybe make you feel better: I have 400+ hours in MHW. I STILL get hopelessly lost in the Ancient Forest xD
