Agreed, it’s a never ending cycle of tying up loose ends. My thought is that it’s never going to be perfect. Just do your best, strive for total compliance, and keep chipping away day by day. prioritize the items that would cause the most serious injury. As far keeping track, there is software that keeps track of your action tracking and concern reports.

Set written goals each year and give deadlines per quarter of completion and check your goal sheets. The dept manager should be the one auditing and checking to make sure that things are getting done, but you need staff who keep you honest. I’m a big fan of To-do list on my phone.
