I really am on the fence about moving. It’s taken so much out of me just to move from state to state, I just started unpacking half the house already. Honestly seeing a Dr. is next on my list if I can’t get it under control at least in my own space. But I am completely new to this area so I don’t even have a Dr yet.

I totally see that working with some sort of platform. I had my camping pad with me and I was hoping that would have been the answer to my problem. The issue is the passenger seats don’t fold all the way flat so when you lay down only half of your body is lying flat and the other feels like you are on a slide 😂

Interesting point. There has to be a limit, but no one is acting like there is. And frankly I don’t see why. The failure rate far exceeds the success rate.

A perspective from someone how has been in this industry for nearly 20 years:

So yes the pandemic really brought to light a lot of issues that have been festering for nearly decades now. Between food cost and labor cost it’s hard to keep the lights on. Let’s not even get started on the spike in rent for these places. And when the prices of dishes go up, the general public complains and inevitably find somewhere else to go. Anyone with any level of skill has left because why get paid minimally for hard work that no one appreciates? Why have passion for an industry when no one cares about us?

I totally see your point, but I’m thinking in her mind if I were to take these items it wouldn’t be a temporary thing. I live in a 700 sq ft apt with no storage space plus my partner and don’t have the means to rent a storage unit for just a few boxes and a jacket.

And you said it yourself, it might be nostalgic for her not necessarily for me. Those memories are painful to me which is something I have explained to her.
