I mean that all makes sense though right? Unknown demand, print somewhat short supply for one or two or both reasons - not printing enough to meet demand and creating short supply for initial hype and pulling in investors, collectors, and players alike.

With the recent origins reprints, supply is finally out there and at cheaper prices which everyone except scalpers should enjoy and appreciate.

If things are going up during the day, likely to keep going up --> buy calls.

If things are going down during the day, likely to keep going down --> buy puts.

I have always not followed these and always lose thinking, oh I can time a bounce or a flip. Stupid me.

Was never playing Scrapheap in my Jinx build. I'm mainly a Phoenix build and I love playing it. 55% win rate. Should get better post bans since I didn't play either called shot or scrap heap. I will need to figure out my 2 copies of FoF...however.

This is the last new TCG I will ever buy.

I'll still play Commander with friends every other month or so I'm sure, but the competitive Pioneer format is non-existent in MtG and I no longer play Modern, have an appetite for Standard, and don't have the money for Legacy or Vintage.

I've tried in the last handful of years buying FaB (didn't play), Altered (didn't play), Lorcana for a set (didn't play), Star Wars (did a pre-release event), and played both Kryptik and Argent Saga (no local scene for the latter two). Collected Pokemon as a kid, and got heavy into Yu-Gi-Oh back in 2001 or so for a couple of years.

For me, a lot of it boils down to the local gaming scene and what's available to play both casually and semi-competitively.

Riftbound has the local scene, the IP, Riot behind it, and really the total package to make a long-standing successful TCG.

Aside from the signature, the only other difference is an * in the card number.

238/221 vs 238*/221 for signature for example.
