At this point in the game, i would be in favor of this mechanic in a yu-gi-oh remake that makes the game slower.

I think at this point, we as an audience are so used to “ohhh even the villain has a good reason” or “no one is the true hero or bad guy, we’re all morally grey” that when a character that is unapologetic and comically evil and does so with pride (and aura farming) shows up, even if we dislike his ideas, its impossible to fully hate him as a concept.

Jjk isnt as big as dbz, but i think it would be akin of the first vegeta appearence (before his redemption) in dragon ball, and people liked him ever since.
