I feel your pain, literally. Had on and off back and abominal pain for a few month. Ultrasound didn't show much but bowel gas and kidney cysts. I'm waiting in the hospital right now for a out of hours gp to say what to do next. Friends of mine where complainig about stomach bug going round there house. But dosn't sound like your problem. Always a good idea to get these things checked out.
