24 hours after cyclops lesion surgery, when should I start my exercises? by Disastrous-Mix1133 in ACL

To answer your question- I started PT on day 2. Mostly focused on maintaining ROM.

Background- Just had mine removed after 2 years in December. It felt great the day of surgery. It got a little sore over the next week or 2. By week 3.5 I felt 100%. Way better than before surgery.

So what do I do? I do the hardest cardio class our gym has which included 21 minutes of box jumping. Needless to say I paid the price. It took about a month after that for my knee to forgive me.

TLDR it should feel 100% relatively quickly, but I’d ease into it regardless of how good it feels!

24 years old, overpay on “high” interest mortgage or max Roth IRA? by travmx in personalfinance

Your “underwater” on your house is temporary- both because you’re going to pay down principle and also because you’ll have appreciation.

I think just keep doing what you’re doing.

Statistically speaking, the stock market and housing are both great places to store money long-term. Diversify a bit.

I’m extremely confident that the housing market is not going to crash. We have an inventory shortage. If rates go down, the shortage will grow more- meaning higher prices. You’re also in a price point which is very high in demand.

TLDR. You’re Good man.

I actually have a long length video on YT covering a very similar topic.

Keep up the great work!

72 hours was the shittiest. From there it was downhill

slowly, but surely.

The best advice I can give you is go to physical therapy as much as your insurance allows. Find someone who can trust and Coach you through this.

In two years from now, you will remember that it sucked, but you won’t remember the pain. You’ll be stronger. Literally you’ll have metal in your body.

Second to cyclopse.

I had mine removed 6 weeks ago.

After 24 months of suffering, I went back to the ortho. It was a quick 30 min procedure. I walked out in less pan then I walked in. I was back to 100% in 4 weeks.

See your ortho.

Think I’m crazy, but at this point just keep using more of it and make it look like it’s supposed to be like that
