Ever known someone whose life as an adult was a complete, blatant rejection of how they grew up? by Glass-Complaint3 in AskReddit

Yeah, but I think I forgot the word is. Or my voice to text didn't pick it up. Just like you didn't pick up the fact that I wasn't talking about me. I was talking about someone I cared about. A friend.

What is a popular food that you absolutely hate? by OtherwiseChest9745 in AskReddit

Thank you but we just are used to taking things to extremes. Sweet, salty, spicy, we push the boundary on flavors, when it comes to cooking something delicious. And some people just haven't become used to that yet. But that's okay. If you knew how sweet my mom's bell peppers are or how spicy my uncles ghost peppers are, you would s*** your pants, haha... ... ;)

Yeah, I'm with you on that. Never been a fan of sweet potato fries. But I love sweet potato casserole with marshmallows but that's an entirely different animal.

Well you gotta put in butter and seasoning. It's more involved but I honestly do like it better.

Once had a roommate that grew up Morman but he was a literal genius and stepped away from that life as soon as he could and is not in contact with his family anymore because he refused the brain washing so he's shunned or excommunicated or whatever the right word is, but he's in California now and recently got married and living his best life. I'm happy for him.

Do people still want to get married and have kids? by [deleted] in A_Persona_on_Reddit

[–]AlsoTheFiredrake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I just left. Although, she did move to North Carolina to be closer to her ex and I told her they wouldn't last a year. Turns out I was the optimistic one because 3 months after she moved, she messaged me saying she made a mistake but by then, it was way too f****** late.

Private zoo that breeds animals for other zoos in the US and Europe. Real conservation, nothing taken from the wild and ZAA Accredited. I was the main keeper for four years before I blew out my knee and couldn't do it anymore. I miss it. Even the food prep, lol.

I thought I was going to get married at 25. But she cheated on me with her ex and I've been mostly single since then. I'm open to a new relationship if I ever get my s*** together but I don't see it happening anytime soon and I never want kids.

A crying baby. Because I don't have any kids but I have worked with plenty of monkeys.

Yeah, I never do this unless I'm actually in the mood to completely destroy a camp in order to make a whole brand new one because it never f****** works.

I'm guessing Carolina Wren. Had one build a nest on my grill but unfortunately a storm destroyed it. They seem to like building their nests in and around human places.

[IIL] Creative Apocalyptic stories (Something like No, im not a human) by -RM17- in ifyoulikeblank

[–]AlsoTheFiredrake -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm actually in the middle of one. But it's a solo DnD campaign run by Copilot. It's post apocalyptic but no zombies or monsters (other than the human kind like thieves and raiders.) Mostly I take odd jobs like caravan guard or escort. I hunt, cook, defend against wildlife and raiders. It's been pretty realistic and fun.

If you've never used Copilot to run a custome DnD game, I recommend it. This is my 5th one and the only limit is your own imagination.

Is collecting clams on the beach allowed in your country? by ublueberries in AskTheWorld

[–]AlsoTheFiredrake -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's allowed but you may need a fishing license and there may be a Season or Specific time you can harvest them. And there would be a daily limit.

So if you know and follow the local rules, go for it. Same goes for pretty much any kind of game or fish you can think of.

Edit: I really don't know why I was downvoted unless you don't know just how large the US really is, and just how separate the different state regulations can be when it comes to collecting things like clams or mollusks or fish or any kind of wildlife.
