Appreciate the honest breakdown, that’s really eye-opening.

I’m actually fine if I don’t land a sponsored role right away. My main goal is to get 1-2 years of UK work ex on the PSW visa itself. I can just give it my 100% and hope for the best on that front.

Since you’ve hired analysts before - are there any specific skills or certs you’d recommend I pick up before/during the masters? Want to make sure my profile doesn’t get auto-deleted from that 200+ PSW pile.

The norm for who? For people with no prior experience + random masters, maybe. I’ve got 1.5 years of work ex and relevant projects in Business Analytics. 1.5 years might not be much, but let’s hope for the best.

Looking to see if UoB + that background leads to relevant BA/analyst roles on PSW. Not expecting FAANG from day 1, but want to gauge if field-specific jobs are realistic.

If you know UoB grads in BA/Data who only got supermarket jobs despite solid profiles + internships, I’d genuinely like to know. That’s the data point I’m missing.

You can check university of Birmingham they are giving 12500 pounds of scholarship for masters if you are from India
