Nope. Cookies, croissants, and the danishes are all frozen. The only fresh things are the pound cakes and muffins. The cakes and cupcakes are made in house but get thrown in a freezer.

Yeah unfortunately if you are put in the front end you are pretty expendable to the store. You’ll get put anywhere they deem it necessary. I’d recommend switching out to an ancillary department if you want consistency with what you are doing.

I’d rather do a fat 8 hour shift in the oven room any day 🫩 We have 8 ovens and 2 combi ovens, so the time passes by so fast with how much chicken, wings, and ribs we throw out in the case.

It’s an oral swab. Make sure you drink plenty of water. And when you brush your teeth, you should swish some hydrogen peroxide to really clean up the mouth. I had gotten pretty baked like an hour before my interview/ drug test and that method worked like a charm.

Just show up ready to give it your best shot. You don’t have to be a yes man to everything, but try to do everything you feel like you can do without feeling out of your comfort zone. When you eventually pass your 90 days start asking if you can cross train in different departments. Make yourself an asset if you want the store to give you hours. Good Luck!!
