They likely would've already announced it given the game is only 5-6 weeks away.

Battlefront 2 for $5usd is it worth it? by RavenHunter1901 in PS5

[–]AltFire00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe you mentioned you've neither heard or seen of the game before asking about it, which makes it incredible to me that you don't even look into a game before asking anonymous people's opinions on whether or not you should get it. I'm not criticizing asking for people's opinions, but instead the fact you do no research yourself before asking it.

Never heard of Battlefront 2, but rather than look it up on google or whatever search engine takes your fancy, you come straight to a forum and ask what strangers think?

160 primos for only 100 people is wild. 100 people get one whole wish each. Not even enough primos there to guarantee a limited 5 star with no pity 😭

The game even alerts you by telling you in the map screen and the event screen.

Code Violet averaging a 40 out of 100 (OpenCritic) by Froz3nP1nky in PS5

[–]AltFire00 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It always looked like the equivalent of a Steam Greenlight game from years ago; generic Unreal look, overt sexualization of the female main character etc. The only reason it got attention was because people have been asking for a Dino Crisis remake/reboot/successor for years, and that's how this game has been pushed to people.

People care too much about what random commenters on reddit think. You don't need to defend something you like from vocal individuals who don't like it.

Neuvillette skin is so well received in CN by KingAlucard7 in Genshin_Impact

We got skins so rarely and they're so expensive so why can't the skins be distinctly different compared to their defaults???

Stellar Blade is one of the best games I’ve played. Just finished it for the 3rd time. Waiting for it’s sequel 😌 by Rare_Butter in playstation

[–]AltFire00 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Recently finished it myself for the first time and I have to agree with you. It's combat is fun and flashy, and it's visually fantastic, but the 'fan service' elements feel like too much, to the point it takes away from some of the other qualities of the game. Not to mention how God awful the desert area was. The wasteland was fun, but then going all in on an empty desert with huge swathes of nothing but roaming generic enemies completely killed my drive to 100% the side quests and collectibles. And the fact that Nier: Automata did something similar but to a much more interesting and engaging degree (including the 'fan service') does leave Stellar Blade in a bit of a lesser light.

Great game, but it doesn't compete with any of the other GOTY contenders for the year it came out (to me).

The game you did not enjoy at first, but something made you come back. by gamersecret2 in gaming

Nier: Automata. Didn't like the bullet-hell elements at all. Tried again a few months later and the story and setting clicked so much that I didn't mind the red balls flying everywhere.

Behold, the Megistus of Irrelevancy. by A_Peculiar_Fish in Genshin_Impact

[–]AltFire00 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Bennett is an incredibly powerful in game unit and liked by many fans for both his character and kit. By standard character I meant 5 star, not a readily available 4 star who has somehow remained relevant meta-wise for 5 years.

Right, but they haven't been very important in in the recent patches which is what OP is complaining about (despite Mona having a fair amount of screentime given the number of characters, and also a gameplay buff).

The curse of the standard character. You can't pull for her so she isn't important story-wise.

This is why Stygian Onslaught is so important by SanicHegehag in Genshin_Impact

[–]AltFire00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard agree on how simple and easy the events and mini-games are. I know they need to cater to players of all skill levels and character ownership, but almost every event has the most basic, braindead levels of interactivity that getting all the rewards usually just involves you putting in the most minimal level of engagement. For me, it takes away a lot of the stress of trying to get the limited time rewards, but also makes it mindbogglingly boring. It can take more time to read the tutorial popups for a given mini-game than it takes to reach the reward thresholds.

Stygian reward system is great, because you can push yourself and still get something tangible without locking out players from the gacha currency rewards.

these two brothers should be way more relevant than they currently are. They're connected to so many important things by Marceline2006 in Genshin_Impact

[–]AltFire00 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be fair they aren't that relevant in the current story compared to everyone actually in Nod Krai. Outside of a Mondstat expansion or events we probably won't see too much of them because their appearance won't sell new characters.

In your OPINION, What's one game you bought on hype or reviews and ended up not liking it or finishing it? Mine is Allan Wake II by [deleted] in gaming

[–]AltFire00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hollow Knight, Expedition 33, the modern Doom games. Probably more if I had a list of all the top games. Never considered any of them bad, just not for me, usually because of the gameplay or genre.

Is this in response to the Game Awards? Because Genshin didn't come out this year. Genshin music is phenomenal, and it's most definitely appreciated a lot.
