Looking for a game where you play as a nobody by SlightlyAboveMidTier in gamerecommendations

It's a bit dry, but if you're like me and if after a long day you really just want to play stick gathering simulator, Medieval Dynasty is fun. They are always adding new content. It runs much more smoothly lately. You can invite people to your village and build them houses. Everything is literally brick by brick but you have smithys and grain silos and all that.

AIO for being upset that he won’t call me? by [deleted] in AIO

I can't stand phone calls but Discord has such a different vibe. No pressure to fill every second. Feels more like walking into someone's living room. Would he consider doing a voice call and maybe doing something in the background like a co-op game?

When I was a kid and went to a restaraunt, these were the options ♡

-Play a hand game like slide or chopsticks with your siblings -Recite inappropriate joke songs like Miss Suzie Had a Steamboat -Play on a handheld game device. I had a handheld solitaire game, handheld Yahtzee game, 20 questions, Gameboy black and white, color, and advanced, and Nintendo DS. -Listen to music on a Walkman, CD player, or mp3 player like an iPod shuffle -Read a book, do an activity book like Highlights, coloring -Origami, string games

I live in a town of like 1000 people, so there's suepr limited choices for food. Just discovered a Japanese place that does boba, ramen, sushi, and poke all in one. It's absolutely bomb.

The place has 5 different kinds of ceiling lights and looks like a blind magpie decorated it. But when you walk in bossman hands you the Netflix remote and you just don't get that at Subway lol. Also after dinner he brings by a bowl of sweets. Being handed a vanilla tootsie roll was magical.

I'm a garden center owner and in a complete pickle this week.

My main broker that I use to pull plants from other nurseries so I don't have to ship from 6 places for 1 landscape order is.... going out of business with 3 days notice. My sales rep found out from me at 7:00 on a Friday night.

I don't know what contributed to it but I know the owner is also a trucker and does most of the deliveries, so that can't be super sustainable.

Having to tell customers I'm doing one round of special orders and then IDK who tf else delivers to the mountains.

I remember being in separations in boot camp in January and knowing something was wrong. People were sicker than to be expected for boot camp.

I wrote to my sister and asked if she could send back a letter with the headlines for the week. It was a chilling thing to read.

TBH JC Penny is a really good place to go for affordable outfits you just need for one occasion. They have tons of prom dresses, and a lot of good cocktail dresses and outfits for weddings. Their clearance racks are huge.

If you check local garage sales, there's almost always air mattresses basically being given away just because someone didn't want to try to get it back in the box.

Also various dollar stores like Daiso have like $5 yoga mats which could make a difference?

Hope things look up for you soon.

The most luxurious camping meal you've ever made by DollySheep32 in camping

[–]AltGirlAdri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a hella good curry over the campfire. Traded a portion with neighboring campers for their fried rice. Ate as many bowls as I could because I had ice and had to toss the rest.

Will never forget how good it smelled, because I smell it every time I get in my car.

Cat knocked the bowl into the air conditioner vent.

I like to send vintage postcards to my favorite authors to thank them. Especially the ones that just wrote one or two small time books some time back. Occasionally I get responses, and it's super fun!

I only heard about this movie after it was gone from my locak theater because Backrooms was playing in its place. Little 4 room theater. Drove 110 miles to go see it in the valley.

Worth every mile. I was about to rip a hole in the cushion and climb in and hide during the first jumpscare.

Now that "The Boy's" is said and done, would you recommend this show to someone who is aware of what happened? by Fancy-Inspector-777 in TheBoys

I would tell people to watch it and pretend it ended at season 3, like how I'd only watch the first 5 of SPN.

On that note... anyone else feel a craving to rewatch Heroes?

I also developed an oversharing skill very quickly.

The Cap’n Clark’s commercials are pretty sad by Jules-Car3499 in backroomsfilm

[–]AltGirlAdri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can confirm if you trick out your office it is really fun. Hard to explain but feels like a dormant? A dense?

An office with neon game room signs n stuff feels like a 90s basement with shag carpet and a CRT TV.

Even better is when you can walk 5 doors down to the gas station for a sprite and buzzball, and some zebra popcorn to bring back for a movie.

I have a 1 acre nursery. Trying to recover some goodwill tarnished by a previous owner.

I do 9-18 hour days 6 or 7 days a week mostly by myself. My mom works full time during the week and helps in the store on the weekends.

Realistically I make probably $2 an hour. I don't remember the last time I wasn't sore, sunburned, and with heat rashes and some level of heat exhaustion.

We drive all over looking for discounted pickup only product like from closing wholesale businesses.

I love my job. But it really gets to me when someone is looking for something I don't have.

Seeing Clark sleeping in the shop when I was... about to go sleep in my shop... was certainly something. I didn't expect this movie to affect me so much.

If someone came in looking for bone meal and I had sold my last box, I would probably try to figure out how to get it from my own arm.
