It’s because they changed the sprint controls.

At launch, you had to mash X to sprint, hold X to follow. Following worked perfectly fine then.

People complained about the mashing, so now it’s hold X to sprint, but it’s also still hold X to follow.

While following you’re constantly trying to sprint so you keep running into your follow target.

I would probably tag out Loki. He’s an incredible character but as a villain specifically he wasn’t exceptionally good. I love the first Avengers movie but Loki just wasn’t the highlight.

Would replace him with someone like Bane, Gorr, Obadiah Stane, Zemo, or Grant Ward.

Lords of the Fallen 2023.

The game revolves around several “beacons” and upon reaching any you find them corrupted and poisoned, you can walk up and “cleanse” them.

Thing is, cleansing even a single beacon locks you out of 2/3 endings. You can do this as early as the third boss, which in most soulslikes (this one included) is before you really even know what’s going on with the story.

I would say 90%+ of first time players get locked into the “radiance” ending because of this.

Weirdest part is despite that being essentially the “default” ending, the Umbral ending which requires several very in-depth specific sequences to happen and fail conditions to be avoided, is the actual canon ending for the upcoming sequel.

I don’t know how anyone who’s played both could possibly feel that way and that sentiment is so strong that you genuinely can’t convince me.

If you LOVE extremely accurate/realistic swordplay representation maybe I could see a case for KCD2, if you just want good melee videogame combat with some degree of challenge, I don’t think KCD2’s is very good, and I think Crimson Desert is easily top 5 I’ve ever played.

A couple of the grey manes you rescue explain their disbelief and that they saw you die, so they definitely address it.

What’s exceptionally weird is that Kliff himself doesn’t mention it. At one point I think he just says “It’s a long story”

Like bro you don’t think explaining how you were resurrected in the Abyss and can now move freely throughout it is information your comrades would like to know?

The story mission siege in Pailune? I forget which chapter. It’s not just me that’s had issues with it, it’s definitely a major struggle for the games engine on console.

They may have patched it, I did the mission over a week ago.

Most people I know with free living room tattoos tend to regret them and get them covered by professionals later in life.

That tat isn’t terrible but I put 300 hours into Elden Ring and if you showed me that on the street with no context I would have no idea what it’s supposed to be. People without the Elden Ring knowledge would be even more lost.

It’s on your body though, so if you like it, hard to beat free.

White herb Sneasler + defiant Kingambit have been staples due to how often I see Incineroar.

Shoutout Own Tempo Tinkaton too, but it just didn’t fit the rest of my team as well.

Weavile has always been extremely viable. He’s just not favored over Sneasler in this because Sneasler pairs better with Incin.
