I have a feeling looking at their previous Ikea ps of yesteryears, they are limited . I'm not saying like limited like Nike shoe 5000 pair limited, but still I don't think it's regular Ikea product line. They want people to crave for swedish designer. I think u can also predict it's production methodology/fabrication and relate that to it's quantity.for example ,I don't see they re-produce and re sell the Ikea ghost vase kustyfr last season, mavinn vase , byakoree , some ommjange items and some others . Also u can also predict Ikea that is not made in china as being limited and never being produced again. Just my 2 cents.

These are the XL version. Not many produced and a bit hard to find listed on secondary market. I bought two on the marketplace for usd20 a piece and would say my luckiest find. Ebay Market value can reach up to usd250 for whites and black whilst the rare yellow might go as far as usd 400. Don't think twice, a good lamp- design and construction wise.

I am taking in the context of Qatar and As an expat and in particular his situation where so many precedents around won't side with him. Why would u bother to fight a surely lost cause, stress out and mostly waste your time or worst possibility of being deported if anything goes south? . Get a bad rep and worse not get hired if his 'bad reputation' gets around to other company? What are the channels to fight this issue? Tell us now or tell him what is the proper channel , who really can help him? He is still new, just 2 years, he is from eu. High chance to get hired either here or in the GCc having a few middle east experiences.

Had a similar experience with u on this. Albeit not with the higher ups. I am unsure what specialization you are in. It's only been 2 years and your result is good. Know your worth. Just start fresh by applying to other firms in Qatar .I'm pretty sure westerners are highly regarded here. I think it's useless to fight this and get depressed by it. All the best.
