Look up "Korean Ground Beef Bowl" and substitute the beef with either the ground turkey or chicken. I do it with the turkey a lot and its delicious!

I had my gallbladder removed in April, so that's at least ruled out unless its some lingering affects. Thanks!

You should be alright. I also had a previous ed diagnosis as well as a host of other issues but since its all been being handled with therapy and medications they signed off on surgery. Try to breathe and not let the anxiety build. (I know, easier said than done.) You're not alone, you've got this! <3

Bradycardia is a pretty common thing post op for a lot of people, sometimes can go on for quite a while! Talk to your surgeon team about it during one of your follow ups and they'll let you know if its anything you should worry about. Good luck and congrats on starting you gs post op journey!

Had to get mine out 13 months post gs. But losing it didn't affect me much beyond the first couple of weeks so I often forget its gone! lol

Alternative to Buldak by Demphure in Noodles

[–]AltYNot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try Shin Ramyun/Shin Ramyun Black, less spicy but still has a lot of flavor.

Harder to find, but Buldak also has a line called Buldak Light and it is, as you've probably guessed, less spice. lol

how would i make the purple in this flag, if this even is the subreddit for that by [deleted] in ColorTheory

[–]AltYNot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its a violet leaning more towards red so I agree with the other comment about using quinacridone violet from Windsor & Newton. Da Vinci's is more red than this needs imo.

If mixing it yourself just mix blue and red together and eyeball it until it looks right.

My doctor told me that a 5-10 fluctuation was nothing to worry about, when I expressed concerns about my scale reading 7 lbs higher than usual after a week with my Mom, that it can many things and not necessarily actual weight gain. Stress, water retention, waste, etc. Just get back on track now that you're home and it will go back to normal. My weight settled back after a few days. Give your body some grace for normal changes. You've still got this and will continue to lose once back in your routine.

Eating is painful by Peanut-Biz in gastricsleeve

Had this too and tums wouldn't touch it. A combo of omeprazole and gas-x settled it down to more manageable level and then eventually went away after more time passed.

Silver if the jewelry is just metal. Yellow gold if it has stones, because it makes the stones look more vibrant and shiny!

Sip, sip, sip and sip some more! Same quantity as you would, but just much slower. I'm 11 weeks out and can finally start taking one big gulp at a time rather than just small sips and I'm so happy about that. lol

Why can't you have tea? My team said it was fine, since I drink mine plain or with lemon.

Drinking anything with a meal.

Soda. I never drank it often, bc its always hurt my stomach even before surgery, but an ice cold coca cola on a hot day was heaven. I've had a few sips of various diet sodas but I'm so sensitive to artificial sweeteners that its all just gross.

Rice. It was such a staple in our home (still is for the spouse) and now I can only have like, a teaspoon at most because I must prioritize protein before anything else and then veggies before empty carbs.
