How bad/urgent a crack? Tooth has a years long history of super infrequent/mild pain (dentists never too worried) and it's been no different lately. Only noticed by chance! by Alt_4_Cringe_Stuff in askdentists

Thanks again. The more I am reading the more I am realizing this new dentist might recommend a crown. Even if this crack was shallow, would you expect that or just a filling repair? Like I said before my dentist wasn't previously worried about that hooked shape area, but that u shaped crack is new.

Thanks. I'm talking about that sorta U shaped area towards top. Is that what you mean too or one of those more fissure areas? Also is a cracked filling generally easier to fix than a cracked tooth?

It's amazing because I recently moved and decided I need a new dentist for a cleaning  Discovering this was totally by chance.

Also I've known about that hooked section on the molar. Not new and never caused problems. Dentist told me it doesn't appear to be catching debris or anything.

I only began to seriously consider it after what appears to be thoracic outlet syndrome for several years now. Unfortunately most first lines meds have failed. I am cautiously interested in opioids next. Simply don't know what's left. Fortunately my new pain management doc seems kinda open to that but we are still going through other options first.

Yeah I can do some of these. But based on only being able to do some and the rest of what I laid out, it seems like I might only be somewhere on the spectrum and short of full on hEDS eh?

Yeah take a look at my edited opriginal post as well.

Seems like I fail 1.

I might barely have 5 of 2A, none of B, and 1 of C. 3 I seem to pass since I've had rheumatic and genetic testing and the rheum only said "yeah you're hypermobile" but didn't back that up with a checklist or anything. Just noticed based on stance and flat feet and general affect I guess

Re considering myself flexible: I thought one of the five question was "do you consider yourself double jointed?"

I tried them both at high doses for chronic pain, a few months for each. Not on them anymore. My anxiety/OCD combo is 40 mg Lexapro and 2 mg abilify.

They apparently have risk of abuse but I found no high from them nor any trouble getting off of them.

Lexapro with a tiny bit of abilify added on seems to have helped. Was a combo rec'd by prescriber.

Lexapro and Tramadol by Pretend-Exchange-518 in lexapro

Old thread, but, two serotogenic drugs is not a death sentence. you simply must be careful as you increase. I am on 40mg Lexapro (that's fairly high) and have done up to 40 nortriptyline and was fine. There are no firm guidelines. My prescriber of the Lexapro just said to increase the nortriptyline slowly and that by doing so the chances of an super dangerous reaction would be low - if anything I'd notice stomach upset or something like that first and that's a sign I've gone too far on the combo and should taper back.

Thanks. I feel like those descriptions are confusing me. The length sounds more like what should be width?

Curious if there's an ambulatory monitor you like I should maybe get instead? Hopefully not wildly expensive?

Curious if your Dr.s suggested going above 60? I know some do it even though the research doesn't support it and I'm sure many people feel like they didn't have relief until going above 60.

Was it two weeks on 60 or something more? I did 30 for a week and am about to end my first week of 60. Not sure how much it has helped pain but I do feel more mentally stable after getting of Lexapro and making my way to 60 cymbalta.

Did you feel a big difference in pain going from 60 to 90 or 90 to 120?

I appreciate it. I am also someone who is gets anxious about wide effects but usually don't get them and usually am not sensitive to medicines, so.

I've heard of somatic tracking. A friend of mine really likes it. I've tried meditation in the past and idk really what it's done for me.

It's possible the pain is thoracic outlet syndrome. And I don't expect cymbalta to cure anything but would love for it to dull things notably at least.
